Subjective, I'll be honest and say that neither stories are good. However, the plots within them are pretty baller, and I gotta give it up to EoS for having an out-there plot with all the time shenanigans ontop of having some decent to great characterization, Dusknoir being an especially standout example after special episode 5. I do like BRT's plot alot too, but it felt lacking in the characterization department with Gengar being the truly standout example.

They really don't know their audience anymore. Haven't for years. All the veterans are gone, they only hire blizzard fanboys (it's literally in their description on their job openings, you need to be a "huge blizzard fan" to get a job there) who don't think much about the quality of what they produce, since they think it'll be awesome anyway.
I think it was the booming success of WoW, especially WotLK that made them arrogant. All they cared about was making things bigger, more popular, more "epic". I think that reflects nicely in their music. Don't get me wrong, WoW had some great music, but it changed a lot. It's not much about atmosphere anymore like it used to be. It's often just "generic epic orchestra music".
