reading about the production of this game was interesting but it sounded like the exact same shitshow as Andromeda

dump stupid money into a bunch of idiots spitballing ideas for years then decide to slap something together at the very last second

EA needs to get some project managers say what you will about Ubisoft but they don't do shit like this

>virgin beta male protagonist Freelancer
Shoulda had romances BioWare

>mfw it and BF5 came with my 2080

Attached: 1556239320480.jpg (500x281, 41K)

I would, but they made universal components take up space. I ain't wasting hours of my time deleting that shit. The game basically banned it's most loyal players by doing so.

Sorry little boy, you weren't strong enought...this is the RULE OF THE NATURE....

Can EA just kill bioware already, it no longer funny to keep watching them fuck up.

Attached: seeno.png (513x720, 180K)

>rule of nature
you fuck it up

>exact clone of destiny, right down to the marketing and the hype and the awards
>people fall for it.. AGAIN

It's just a matter of months, they will not survive for long enough for DA to release

>even bioware already ditched this game after hyping it up to all hell
>immediately try to hype people up for dragon age 4

i would be mad, if this wasn't so god damn funny.

How long till bioware join the graveyard?

EA already made bioware its undead thrall. I doubt they're gonna close them down they are now in the business of making shit games just for lulz now

>10 YEARS

Dice is circling the drain too. BFV, the return to ww2, should have been the grandest BF to date to celebrate. Instead it is barebones content that is only being trickled out. They just added the real money store for cosmetics.

Ugly face

Bioware, I remember the good times but I can't be with you knowing you're just going to keep hurting me.

They already had it leaked DA4 will be games as a service too, they’re going to try again and fail again if they release anything at all

DA4 will be their last game

Ubisoft also still makes decent games from time to time. There’s nothing wrong with either Rayman or Kingdom Battle both are full complete games with no lootboxes or ripoff dlc

Some user called Anthem "Video game: the Video Game" and it couldn't have been more spot on

>cancelled single player joplin for live service morrison
what the fuck are they thinking

Anthem deserved to fail

EA stacked the studios with purple hairs and tumblr devs and now the studio will die

The impression I keep getting, not only from this and Andromeda but also from Visceral's failed Star Wars game and other recent titles, is that EA is too lenient. They just give devs huge piles of money and tell them to go nuts, then just keep feeding them time and money even as they're being given literally nothing in return. They need more managers on site actually making these people work towards a coherent goal.

EA deserves death! NOTHING BUT DEATH!

Maybe I'll buy Anthem when it becomes a good game.

I don't have time and money to waste on something that may not ever become good.

They’ll get it going any minute lol

You are retarded

EA is taking another risk and hoping it'll pay off this time. Analysts and marketing suits have been shilling the possible untapped potential and mountains of gold a functional live service game could provide so zealously that investors and corporate elite just want to keep on trying until they hit the jackpot.
They probably are currently in denial and think that Anthem failed because it was a new IP.

Someone said they're the ones that get the least money, because who cares about some nerd-tier RPG when you can pump money into proven draws and "games as le service" such as Madden, FIFA and (debatably) Battlefield which return their investments multiple times over.
For games such as Anthem, they only give out scraps and the bottom-tier interns and code monkeys, then expect the thing to sell 5 million copies somehow.

Not that user, but why? All the stories that have popped up on Anthem's troubles boil down to management not knowing wtf they're doing, chastising people for making Destiny comparisons, adding and removing features at a whim, rushed decisions to appease investors, etc.

Not him, but EA forcing Frostbite down everyone's throats to get GOOD GRAPHICS and to save money only seems to be biting them in the ass. Anthem had a lot of development issues along with obviously being directionless, but having EA's studios essentially fighting for support for in-house engine that was designed for one type of game and apparently isn't even documented well is absolutely absurd

Attached: file.png (600x436, 369K)

now thats what i call a white mans game

EA was lenient with BIOWARE because Bioware used to have a solid reputation. Bioware has 3 teams. 1 did the Mass Effect, dragon age, and kotor stuff. The other did TOR, the star wars mmo. The 3rd was created and did... Andromeda, basically.

Anthem involved all three. The "elite" team has basically been gutted due to people leaving. The Andromeda team idk jacked off in the corner. The MMO team knew how to do loot mechanics, but the lead team didnt listen, and the MMO team didnt know how to work with Frostbyte engine. All the project and team leads had their own idealized Anthem and none of them really worked out until EA sat down, played a demo, thought it was crap, and they put flying back in. After that it was a mad dash to force like 3 different plot drafts together

mhm

pretty sure that their life span is greatly extended since they propagade leftist narrative and multiracial memes in the supremacist empowerement sense.-

no

I'm not sure what's more retarded, buying Anthem or a 2080.
Hopefully they'll be shut down before creating DA4.

I will always be angry about Pandemic

>EA is taking another risk and hoping it'll pay off this time. Analysts and marketing suits have been shilling the possible untapped potential and mountains of gold a functional live service game could provide so zealously that investors and corporate elite just want to keep on trying until they hit the jackpot.

That makes sense and is completely logical. Why waste time and money on a damaged or failing product? Focus on winners.

Unfortunately this when doing this EA seems to release half finished attempts and damage their own brand by abandoning their own incomplete and misshapen children.

>They probably are currently in denial and think that Anthem failed because it was a new IP.

Having read articles on investing in video game companies, I can completely believe they're this stupid and out of touch.

>mfw this shit bought me

Attached: 1521993418610.jpg (928x856, 49K)

>he bought a 2080

Attached: IMG_20181004_135813.jpg (1920x1080, 210K)

Been pretty happy with it, especially since I play games at 3840x2160 and have a 144hz monitor. Shits pretty.
