I had a lot more fun playing this than probably RDR2 and many other open world RPGs.

i like it so much. it has much better combat and mission design than new rockstar games.

Underrated gem. 100%ed it back in the days. Driving was shit tho.

It was a good game. Shooting and driving mechanics were lame but averall pretty good game. It's sad that we will never see a sequel

The smaller map was so refreshing. I'm tired of huge empty worlds and the smaller map feels way more dense.

It's pretty bad and has one of the worst protagonists I've ever seen.

Pretty good, but was rough around the edges. basic bamham combat, shit driving, and the story mode kind of falls apart near the end. It would have been better without being open world and with a more fleshed out combat system.

Old version with HD textures is the real definitive version, right?

Shame it's only available through shady russian torrent sites.

My favorite modern setting open world game after Vice City. Very atmospheric, and Wei Shen is a fun protagonist.

Agree. Had a lot more fun 30 hours with Sleeping Dogs than 100 hours checklisting every single thing in AssCreed, JUST cause and Far Cry

It was fun while it lasted but disappeared from my mind once I cleared it and moved on to other games, unlike Yakuza.

First and only game i played that i wanted a deeper relationship system. Not Ping is best girl.

Going back to it i kind of feel it could have been a lot denser, and had more street level stuff. Racing around everywhere in cars kind of saps a lot of personality out of the game. Then again it's pretty good for it's era.

The combat in the original version was terrible. Acceptable in the Definitive or whatever edition. Liked it better than GTA4.

Pretty sure they made a bunch of changes to the original melee combat in the Definitive Edition.

The Definitive edition looks like shit. There are vids on yoputube for comparison, check em.

>Main characters acting was incredible.
>Bully fight system is near perfect.
>shooting is bloody, impactful
>Enviro kills are cool.

Cons:
>Not enough to do
>Too short.
>DLC sucks.
>Car jumping is stupid.
>Forearms on models too long.
>No Cantonese option.
