The bull is probably the weirdest boss in the game other than Emma. Those are the two bosses I see people describe as, not "difficult" but "unreliable" in their behavior.

You can jump on its head to deal posture damage.

It's a little bit after mid game. He isn't that difficult, just defend and deflect everything. The difficult part is that you have to fight him a lot of times (obligatory if you take one route, and optional if you take another).

I could only reliably deflect one of his attacks (the one he lowers his head then lifts it fast). The good thing is that if you deflect that one he gets kinda stunned so you can get a couple of free hits on his face and that one hurts it like hell. In my NG++ i managed to break its posture pretty quickly.

Also fuck that "every skill" achievement, need 12 more levels and grinding for them SUCKS. Poor little ninja, is there a better spot to farm exp?

Sorry bro. Only zoomers troll with spoilers. If it makes you feel any better, that boss is optional and requires specific actions / choices to manifest. Conventional playthroughs do not include it.

Try and stay in his face and deflect his attacks. Hitting the head does extra damage. Use firecrackers to lock him down. Get some dousing powder or the red gourd, burn status is a bitch. It's a shit fight, that's for sure, I was expecting much more utility of the grappling hook and perilous jump attacks.

I always do fountainhead palace for farming but going into higher ng+'s might be the best option.

What's a good spot there? I'm kinda burned out so i doubt i can go for NG+++ right now.
