Mario 64 / Zelda 64 > sup netroid >> LTTP >>>>>> shiity turn- based rpgs
OOT > FF6 > Chrono > LTTP > Metroid > Mario 64
super metroid > chrono trigger > sm64 > ff3 > lttp > oot
1. Chrono Trigger
2. Final Fantasy VI, Ocarina of Time
4. Link to the Past, Super Metroid
6. Mario 64
Based & /thread pilled
Surprisingly difficult, but imo
OoT > Chrono Trigger > SM64 > Super Metroid > LTTP > FF6
Honestly any order is fair game though
OoT > CT > LttP > SM > M64 > FF6
1. Final Fantasy VI
2. Chrono Trigger
3. Ocarina Of Time
4. Super Metroid
5. A Link To The Past
6. Super Mario 64
Majora's Mask > Ocarina of Time > A Link to The Past > Chrono Trigger > Metroid > Mario 64
> MM
Opinion invalidated. Go back to GameGrumps
They're all classics... I don't see the point of this thread as platform lovers will put Metroid/SM64 1st and RPG fans will put FF3/Chrono 1st
Super Metroid: The peak of Metroidvania platformer. The set example of what any metroidvania to become
Link to the Past: Peak 2D Zelda. What every 2d zelda should strive to be. Has a very good show don't tell story and makes you invested to the character and world.
Ocarina of time: Very solid title that mixes plot with lore and has a unique world dynamic and manages to leave no questions behind. Has Collectibles, side quest, Investable story and fair puzzles. Has a few flaws but nothing that harms the game too much
Mario 64: Solid platformer overall. Has many worlds with many unique objectives. The problem that it hampers is a terrible camera which brings tedium but does not break the game
Chrono Trigger: Timeless RPG. A peak RPG o how to make a world that is constantly changing but it is still the same world. You never have to grind if the game turns too hard and even then, the game offers many ways to shortcut yourself through the tougher enemies. No random encounters and encounters can be avoided to speed through the game
Final Fantasy 6 (SNES 3) : a solid RPG with great writing but feels outdated with slowness and random encounters. Menu based RPG that is OK but not standing out. Has the best plot on the list but the core gameplay is meh at beat and is definitely ineferior to Chrono trigger

never watched them in my life and still don't know who they are even though I've seen their name here
I love MM and will defend it to my death
Top 3 was hard, top 4 even.
Ocarina of Time isn't even a good game so it was easy to place. You have to be a special kind of retard to like an early 3d adventure game like that.
you must not like Zelda as much. Why? I don'tdon't like the RPGs that much but the only fair comparison is plot and while the RPGs have better plot, the Zelda games have better visuals to understand the world.
You got the order backwards
/thread. True that you can't compare them between each other becaus ethey excel in different criterias
Zelda OOT = Chrono Trigger --> Mario 64 --> Final Fantasy VI --> Super Metroid -->Zelda ALTTP
Patrician taste

CT>LTTP>SM>FFIII>OOT>SM64
OOT & Mario 64 are fucking timeless, just played it on the Project 64 yesterday & they are infinitely superior to any game released in the last 10 years. Easily 10/10s
