I'm okay, I've competed in a few higher tier FPS games, and set a few temporary world records in Racing games from Codemasters and such. A few shooters I've sat in their top 100 player bases for NA a few times statistics wise. But I don't do the whole super competitive shit, nor stream. I just play to have fun and happen to be decent at it. despite getting up in age, I'm now 31 and I've noticed I for sure fub my plays a bit more often.

No, I suck at them. I always choose easy mode when possible. I can't take defeat and often uninstall out of frustration if I die once in a game.

I play single player games almost exclusively now, don't really like to play online unless its co op with a friend. I see the appeal in competing but relaxing online while doing your best to win in single player games is more fun to me. Didn't really play anything competitive growing up.

I'm good at video games by virtue of being a time traveler. That's how I get all the top scores on leaderboards before everyone else. I play them for years and years and years, travel back to the past when they first come out, and tear everyone's asshole apart. People only think I'm a prodigy.

I have a "100% complete" living Shiny pokemon Pokedex (Its not realy 100% since there are some legendaries that dont have a shiny version aviable). Its not that Im skilled, but more that Im dedicated to work on a goal.

Now If I could use that to actually get ahead in life, that would be nice.

I've S ranked every single mission in every Armored Core game ever created and have won 1v4s in multiplayer in eligible games. I've won with those pile driver punch weapons and faced other pilots from Japan that actually made me sweat. I also hold two world records for score in the rhythm game Gitaroo Man. There are probably other accomplishments but I've been playing for over twenty years and those are my proudest. I have no shame and DARE you to match them.

What do you define as meaningful? Temporary pleasure is all there is. You're either rewarded now, or rewarded later, in lesser or greater quantities. If user chooses to complete the pokedex because it seems fun, there's nothing wrong with that. Getting wealthy serves the same purpose: Have enough to spend lavishly on shit that will thrill you for a while, and do it again when it wears off. Unless you're studying at some kind of monastery or searching for answers to a meaningful life, you have no right to criticize him because we're all doing the same shit.

Definitely agree about snaking It was cool at first but i'm glad i didn't learn about it until after I beat the game. On that grand prix mission on very hard I would line up the little arrow that indicates an approaching car with my own car and have the racer knock me ahead. The staff ghost just required some serious focus.

I get top of the leaderboard in Red Orchestra 2/Rising Storm 1/2 with pretty decent consistency. Have friends who run a really small """""pro""""" CSGO team and they're all global elite or whatever, I'd probably play with them if I could take the game seriously in the slightest but I'm not that much of a joyless faggot so I stick to lower ranks and just fuck about.

I used to do raiding as main tank back in WoW Mists of Pandaria, lost interest since tho. Got through Mogushan Vaults within a few days of the server first iirc. Lost interest in the game before Siege of Orgrimmar.

Good in the sense that I can pick almost anything up and perform surprisingly well, be it either fighting games, sim racing, strategies or FPS, but I’ve never been ”super good” in anything (although I’ve never played a game where I would completely suck either). It’s most likely because I have such a wide taste for games that I don’t want to spend too much time practicing with one game. Jack of all trades, master of none.

Beat DeS, DS1, and DS3 at SL1. BB no levelling run is up next. I'm also in the top 1% for a most of the Rivals challenges in the Forza Horizon games.
