Mobile games

Are there any mobile games that do not suck? No microtransactions, ads, shitty controls. I think of buying binding of isaac.

Snake

Langrisser
Well there's microtransactions but they're unobtrusive

Old school runescape. But that’s just a port of a browser game.

I don't like online games

Nope. Controls for smartphones are shit-tacular. Smartphones aren't for gaming, period.

Project Highrise is a cool skyscraper manager if you're into it. You'll have to pirate it if you don't mind paying for it, though.

That aren't ports of other games? It's slim pickings.

In terms of playable:
Stardew Valley
XCOM
Transistor
Most squeenix port titles
Most board game titles (castles of burgundy, splendor, etc)

but in terms of mobile-only non-port there really isn't much

All the ones I like are ports or have micro transactions

Why are there so many mobile game threads lately? Are they all made by the same idiot? Mobile games are all shit btw.

Don't play this, its fun for a few hours then becomes a giant, unforgiving grindfest

you mean just like the original

Fuck gacha games. Just emulate old rpgs user.

Only tolerable mobile games are handheld or console ports and those running on emulators

probably, but the original wasn't a gachagame so at least it would've been an achievement to beat

Are the Dragon Quest ports any good? I have 1-3 on GBC and am thinking of getting 4 on there after I get around to beating 3.

No, the genre exists solely to make money out of middle aged moms and toddlers.

Play king's raid

Is TES: Blades any good?

Reminder that any popular phone game can likely be downloaded off your phone's internet browser. You sincerely should not pay for this shit.

Mobile friends actually play the games they suggest. You don't get any social benefit for playing cellphone games here, so the only people who use these threads actually play games. This creates actual game discussion rather than outrage and gossip.
Search your feelings, you know it to be true.

Yes they are. The controls to move your character around take a few minutes to get used to, but they are fantastic ports of 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6. 3 has cut content and 8 is the worse version of 8. It will run, but it just feels a lot worse than the PS2 version and even the 3DS version.

There hasn't been a single good TES game.

Oh I forgot to add that the DQ4 mobile port is the best English version of the game since it adds back in the party chat that was cut from the western version of DQ4 on DS.

Don't double post.

only mobile game that does not suck out of like 200 i ever tried is puzzle called "snakebird"

mobile games are shit.

fuck no

Automatic red flag if someone suggests a game posting a shitty fanservice pic

minesweeper

Get a tablet for heavy stuff. Phones still don't have proper cooling solutions despite all the bells and whistles.
The best phone would have good cooling and a removable battery, but you don't sell to consumers with unsexy, non-premium but perfectly functional hardware.

See filename.

Only mobile games I ever truly enjoyed were the Phoenix Wright games, even if it's cheating cause they are ports.
Those games simply work perfectly well on mobile, since you can play some whenever you want, like for 5 minutes on the bus for example, but you can just as well play for hours at a time.
I can't say that about any other smartphone game.

fuck capcom for not porting this to android

I started playing battle of titans

Drawing penises in a paint app is plenty of fun.

The Quest.

Best mobile game ever made. It plays like old school dungeon crawlers like Ultima or Daggerfall. The non Dev made expansions are a little goodie but the core game and the Fire and Ice xpac are primo baby

Play The Quest

Cardinal Quest 2, Pathos, Downwell, and A Dark Room. Tower Madness if you don’t mind ads without going prenium.

Pocket City
Mini Metro
Cat Quest
You Must Build A Boat

Just emulate games my dude, I've finished so many good games on Drastic.

Have a you for your good taste. I wish I understand how to meta GFL.

In all honesty Crashlands looks cool but I wont play it purely for the edgyness of that trailer

Best free ones:

Chimera Recollect (RPG game with flick-based battles, no jewery, great story with an actual ending, controls work perfectly for mobile, around 20hrs of content)
Slayin' (Fantastic action game for mobile with solid controls, lots of characters with different playstyles, kinda repetitive but overall great fun for short bursts)
Candies 'n Curses (Simple but fun Arcade-like game with cute graphics and a surprising amount of content)
Night of the Full Moon (Slay the Spire-like game with overall 10/10 presentation, quite fun but sadly lots of stuff locked behind IAP)
Buriedbornes/DeckDeDungeon (Kinda janky in presentation and ads-heavy, but both are amazing Roguelites with great gameplay and an absurd amount of content)
Underhand (Solitaire-like card game where you have to manage resources to summon an elder being, no jewery and fun, but lacking in content)
Lapse (Solid Reigns clone, not very in-depth gameplay and has ads but otherwise a very good timewaster)
Shattered Pixel Dungeon (Mobile Roguelike game, not as in-depth as its other Roguelikes but still lots of content, great controls for mobile and tons of fun)
Duet (Simple, relaxing and minimalistic game, fun but kinda difficult to explain, similar to a rythm game, I guess?)

Morphite for comfy space adventures.
I mainly play this game to clam my nerves and chill.

Attached: MorphiteBug.jpg (1920x1080, 223K)

Duet is cool just to see a different kind of rhythm game

Garbage reply for a garbage game

It’s garbage. Even without the shitty mtx it would be an awful game.

What are the lewdest games? I've already played Destiny Child, GFL, and Azure Lane

Fate/Grand Order

Carmageddon. it's the og game with nicer graphics and it's free.

Riptide GP Renegade. One of the better racers around on the mobile platform.

Attached: RiptideGPRenegade.jpg (1600x900, 313K)

i play emulated ps1 and snes games on my phone,i actually replayed suikoden 1 on my phone last week

King's raid is lewd as fuck. Lewder than gfl and azur lane for sure.

Kill yourself.

Cytus is pretty good, but you should literally never play Rayark's rhythm games on mobile since they always remaster them for Switch with all the DLC included later anyways.

Reported for seething,redditor.

any good porn games?

Actually telling someone you reported him gets you banned here "xxnarutoxx"

...I liked it.

I need upgrades, tons of them, I love games that let you upgrade your character to get further or do more damage, no matter how grindy is

Attached: 1556765662545.jpg (750x590, 342K)

Its same edge levels as Isac.

>A Dark Room
If the rest of your suggestions are as bad as this "game", you shouldn't even be on this board.

Depends, is Retroarch still the best emulator?

>Retroarch
>an emulator

AFK Arena

Vampire's Fall Origins.

That's not what edgy means. What you mean is that trailer was reddit as fuck. Still looks like a fun game though.

Looks decent, I dont really dig the whole animations but I'll give it a shot

More grindy games?

Any Disgaea clones?

I have Disgaea 2 on PPSSPP and thats pretty much all I play on my phone

Attached: 1555429026227.jpg (960x574, 50K)

Haru get out ree

I'm not buying that anyone on Yea Forums would see those ads and think "yea I wanna play that"

>Are there any mobile games that do not suck?
No.

The iOS/Android version of Final Fantasy (1) used to be good. Then they fucked up the interface by replacing the neat always-visible touchscreen dpad with a shitty one that makes you drag your finger in the direction you want to go instead of just pushing a button. A terrible change for the worse, I think.

>just another shitty roll-for-rare-jpgs gachashit
fuck off

I use an ad blocker everywhere. I just saw it on the play store because I have a lot of idle games on my phone

Clash of clans post town hall 7 is a joy to play

I want to like EvoCreo, but I could never really sink too much time in to it before losing interest. I'm not sure why, and it's worse since I've been hankering for a monster raising game.
There are some other Pokemon-like games around, but the only one that caught my attention other than EvoCreo is Evertale, which looks like it has some good polish to it.

Attached: EvoCreo.jpg (1280x720, 155K)

>Crypt of the Necrodancer
A rhythm game crossed with a rougelike. Honestly one of my favorite games of all time, although I'd suggest getting the Steam version since it has more content and mods. Mobile version is still great though.
>Deemo
Probably the best mobile rhythm game I've ever played, and I've played a lot of them. Music is great, and the story is surprisingly good. Some songs are locked behind a paywall, but there's enough in the base game that it doesn't really matter.
>Wrestling Revolution
There are two versions, one is 2D and the other 3D. They're both good, but I prefer the 2D version. Janky as fuck, but play surprisingly well and the absolutely absurd shit that can happen is worth playing for.
>The Muscle Hustle
Kind of like beyblades mixed with wrestling I guess? It's pretty fun and the microtransactions are totally unnecessary to progress.

Idle Heroes is basically just AFK Arena but even more grindy. Microtansactions are really bad though.

No. There really aren't. Phones don't actually have games. Just money making schemes. You're literally better off just going to some flash game site.

Hearthstone is not a game. It is a jewish trick to hurt children.

>Phones don't actually have games. Just money making schemes.
If you're going to split hairs to sound smart then ALL GAMES are money making schemes you retard
Also there's games on phones that are just 1x1 ports of existing games, what about those?

Attached: 1535955539196.jpg (474x711, 66K)

Geometry Dash

This game is actually really fucking fun

Attached: geometrydash.jpg (460x215, 50K)

No they're not. Some time after the 90s, every single developer on planet Earth forgot that games exist to entertain, not to make money.

I can't play an RPG without movement.
RPGs are supposed to be about adventures and interacting with new places. If a game is all combat with no sense of adventure, I just can't get in to it, I may as well just place an action game if I only wanted combat.

Attached: GalaxyOnFire2.jpg (1136x640, 131K)

Crush them all is actually pretty fun. Plenty of opportunities to earn premium currency just by playing the game.

>rougelike
is this a meme I'm not aware of or do you guys actually struggle with the word "rogue"? I see this constantly so I'm not sure at this point

Eh to each their own. I can't stand movement in phone games. I prefer menu driven games for my phone because movement has always been awkward if it's not just tap to move.

Any banchou or just japanese gang game?

Attached: 1554850306833.jpg (640x640, 49K)

Early (2003-2007) J2ME games were essentiallly a modern indie scene, except without LE AUTEURS and with focus being on basic playability (as opposed to being distinct artistry-wise), a concept of a game as basically a barebones "proof of concept", and basically you were meant to play the game exactly once, "get" how it was meant to be played in principle, quickly wrap it up till finish once you "got" it (more often than not that involved finding a sort of intentional exploit of sorts, inherent to the entire game's mechanics) and then move on, never looking back. Basically, if you stemmed away from big fish (like Gameloft or those Carmack games) it was "indies done right.
The caveat though is that for those games you absolutely NEED to have physical keyboard, because they can occasionally get quite intensive, and for those moments you need to feel the physical borders of the keys you are pressing. So, while their emulation is definitely technically possible on modern touch phones, their playability when played that way is questionable at best.

Also, on point of being intensive.
I dare anyone here to try beating this
mobygames.com/game/dragon-skies
on touch controls (regardless of whether you manage to "get" its "twist"/"exploit" - which it does have).

Monster Hunter Stories
FFXV Pocket Edition
Picross
Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia
Neverwinter Nights EE
Minecraft
NDS games on Drastic
GBA games on MyBoy
For emulated games I mostly play rpgs or games that don't require too much control because it's bad on the touchscreen, or I just use one of my Joycons as a controller, it works great)

Gonna have to take some time to research that. I like looking in to little explored segments of gaming, and Java stuff seems to be really interesting. I'm guessing there was a strong effort to preserve those games too, yes? I know that's going to be a huge issue with Android games because they can drop off and be rendered unplayable very easily.

Siralim, thank me later

Actually no, there is little to no effort at centralized preservation, but a lot of pirate sites (Russian in particular) are still alive, like, way from 2004 (and even that way it becomes quite hard to find stuff from 2003, basically, any pirate site is not terribly comprehensive in relation to games that were released prior to its establishment). They are your best bet.

>opera omnia
>good

that shit is full of fucking bloat and you know it.

Lilia best girl

>No gacha for characters or costumes, all of them are always available
Most games should do this

Fotonica is nice, 3D speedrunner with a great art meshline artstyle that gets around smartphones having almost no inputs by only using a tap for controlling when you jump. Only thing I've ever played since I gave up on everything else within a minute after I realized phones really are crap for gaming unless you use an external controller and maybe emulate stuff, which I prefer to do on desktop or laptop.

I never said it was the best game.
I like Final Fantasy, and the fact that all the characters can be unlocked easily through story and events is nice, the gacha part is on equipment, but they are generous enough

Crusader's Quest

All mobile games will have microtransactions, user.

Anyways some good ones to play where you can actually ignore microtransactions and still have a good time
>Clash Royale
>Dead Ahead
>Dead Ahead: Zombie Warfare
>Slayin
>Remixed Dungeon
>Armory & Machine
>Dungeon Cards
>Hoplite

nope, all mobile games are trash
and gachaniggers should hang
