well?
Well?
Its good
Yea Forums brainlets hate it because they want to play it like Dark Souls or have fallen for the "too hard" meme that pops up with every FromSoftWare game
They took the difficulty meme too far.
it's great, but is lacking content in certain aspects. also, there's way too many reused bosses.
it's literally not hard enough
It's better than the souls sequels, but I still prefer DaS1 and BB.
My game of the year so far.
Has some issues for sure but anyone who thinks its outright bad is a moron or a Souls autist who wants the series to be yearly.
GotY so far but it's not perfect.
>Sekiro out for over a month
>Make climax noises when they attack
>All bad ass waifus
>In a relaxing temple
>Necks MADE for deepthroat
>Still no good R34 of them
Wtf bros?
I almost finished the game (Purification ending) and am at Demon of Hatred boss. It's honestly better than I expected but still lacks a lot of things such as: Grapling Hook isn't used to its full potential like in trailers, it suffers from some problems Soulsborne also suffers from such as invisible walls and textures in general, bad RNG (sometimes you can kill bosses in one go but can't kill most basic NPCs). Also its story just sucks dick.
I didn't like it. Very focused on combat and that's what i didn't like about DS3. I wanted more Miyazaki weirdness and exploration instead i got a kind of straightforward game, the combat is super tight but it also made for a less interesting game because every enemy was basically "guy with sword". I respect the simplicity and design of the combat but it also ended up kind of boring me.
Also the "le difficulty" is getting tiring. I just want another weird exploration focus Miyazaki game.
Everyone who cares has played and beaten it already
Anyone who can't has moved on
Ded game
beat it today, it was kino
great game, hard but satisfying
Great game, underwhelming mechanics.
Prosthetics are useless despite being one of the game's main focuses.
>Price dropped to $45
Prolly gonna pick it up, couldn't justify $60 for a From game with no multiplayer/replayability.
lady butterfly is broken
GOTY, the only people who hate it are soulsbornefags who can't override their soulsborne instincts and got filtered by bosses that punishes them for having those instincts.
Can't beat Sword Saint.
throw shurikens at her each time she jumps
It's difficult (bosses) the first run, all subsequent ones are easy as fuck
It's Demon's Souls part 2 in the sense that it will probably get one much better spiritual sequel down the line.
My personal GOTY though and I say that as a DMC fag.
>infinite stamina
>stealth deathblows
>missed deflects still block attacks
>firecrackers
The ONLY thing that added any difficulty (and it's only added difficulty for people trying to play like souls) is dodge not having nearly as many iframes. But that is more than made up for with how powerful deflecting/blocking is.
Great game, honestly didn't like how it rehashes the same area like twice. A few reskinned minibosses towards the end therefore the endgame felt kinda rushed. Makes it up with a kino final boss.
i literally can't get past the first area of the game
tried a deathblow on a guy but he just got back up and killed me everytime
refunded
>Prosthetics are useless
No they're not. They trivialize most fights.
>dude it's easy as fuck once you beat the game once at knew all their attack patterns
Difficult until you learn how it ticks.
Then it becomes easy.
Best game of 2019. Nothing comes close.
BB+dlc > Sekiro = BB >>> Souls
>shruikens can stun niggers in mid-jump (e.g. butterfly)
>firecrackers is literally easy mode because it stuns 99% of the game's enemy for 1 second regardless of their actions/movement
are we playing the same game
source me up fa m
It's good.
Yea Forums is convinced it sucks, because Yea Forums thinks everything sucks.
This desu
7/10.
Inarguably better mechanics than Souls, looks great, but Souls/Bloodborne have a better balance of mechanics and settings
9/10
too streamlined to be an interesting adventure game
too poorly optimized to be an exciting action game
this being sandwiched between DMC5 and NG2 back compat has not done it any favors for me comparatively
I ending playing an hour at most and get bored and switch to one of those two games instead
I know right. I want my Kuro porn right now!
I need a walkthrough because this open world shit has me completely lost
it's an action game
I love ng, there needs to be a new one. Sekiro has really peaked my interest to get back into action games, but my only good option is dmc5, and I seriously can't handle how edgy it is. The appeal for sekiro and souls for that matter was how grounded the games were
>its easy once you understand everything
You think it's RNG but it's actually just you playing badly sometimes. Player action determines what the AI will try to do next to the point where you can very easily push enemies into repeating a consistent combo and make them react how you want them to.
Also the story is good you're just dumb.
>poorly optimzed
Nigga wat. It ran without any hiccups whatsoever at 60fps on my gtx1060 3gb and 2200G
>It's another "brainlet didn't discover the mechanics and says the game is shit" episode
>not using shurikens/kunai for stagger
>not using flamevent upgrade
>not using the firecrackers
>not using phoenix/vermillion umbrella
>not using great mist feather
>not using the spear which literally combos with the rest of your katana moves
farming for materials suck but it's worth it
where are you? The path forward should be pretty easy. The sculptor idol people have a hard time finding is the one left of the broken bridge after chained ogre.
If it had PvP and more weapons I would have no reason to play any other From game.
Perhaps it's not so surprising though, that the game stripped of everything except what makes From's games so exciting, feels the most complete and refined of any game at launch they've released so far.
I do also look forward to seeing just much they fuck up Sekiro 2.
Based as fuck
