it will be extremely painful
You should have considered that in the beginning
they'll never go under
too big to fail
you leave them to me
Permanent offline mode
they have 1 billion users retard, they won't go under
>my games
Dude, you HAVE no games.
Just licences.
if you want to be technical you never owned any games, even a cartridge is just a license.
>1 billion users
That's cute.
Your games will disappear forever. Valve will never release a magic update to let you play your games without Steam because the licensing issues make it impossible.
Why do you care? You'll be dead by then
Is that a threat?
No?
Enron went under due to corporate fraud and corruption, becoming bankrupt.
How is this a good example?
clever
dumb
Because Steam is fraudulent and corrupt.
how do you figure. they arent a publicly traded company
Do you understand steam is the biggest online digital video game store, community etc..it would literally take like 20 years for epic games store to catch up
If that was true with backed evidence, they would have already went under.
Valve is only lazy
Corporate laziness should be considered a crime.
Do you understand myspace is the biggest online digital social network, community etc..it would literally take like 20 years for facebook to catch up
What will happen to my games when they go under?
>repeat post with the other brands
If you have the game installed, nothing. You can play offline. The problem is of course that with the default storage you can only have 5-.6 major games installed
the steamworks games like TF2, CS, and Half life will be unplayable (unless you crack them), most other games will be fine so long as they're already installed on the computer. you can still play most steam games even while steam isn't running so long as you know where the exe is.
myspace is still active with over 100 million in revenue.
Are you comparing Epic with Facebook? Now that's epic considering all the scandals
That's only true for singleplayer games.
Online-only is becoming the norm

Hardly to go under, but their monopoly is so big it killed PC after saving it. Not that PC matters when it comes to games anyway.
You lose them all.

Section 7
C. NO GUARANTEES
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NEITHER VALVE NOR ITS AFFILIATES GUARANTEE CONTINUOUS, ERROR-FREE, VIRUS-FREE OR SECURE OPERATION AND ACCESS TO STEAM, THE CONTENT AND SERVICES, YOUR ACCOUNT AND/OR YOUR SUBSCRIPTION(S) OR ANY INFORMATION AVAILABLE IN CONNECTION THEREWITH.
Section 9
C. Termination by Valve
Valve may cancel your Account or any particular Subscription(s) at any time in the event that (a) Valve ceases providing such Subscriptions to similarly situated Subscribers generally
Steam is literally bigger than PS4 and xBone1, do you think those will go under?
>YOUR games
name 5 good always-online/multiplayer games
you cant
it took counsels long enough to catch up plus a PC will always be better due to mods, being to handle higher fps, and porting of games.
Explain
>valve won't take your games
Valve said sometime ago that they would remove valve drm and you would keep everything you downloaded in the event they went under
Every user costs money but unless they buy new games they don't generate any revenue. Steam will eventually go bankrupt when people buy games on other platforms
>using some outdated mac just to shill your profile
get mental help you fucking faggot
>1 billion users
1 billion accounts, you fucking retard.
except that's an urban myth and Valve never said anything like that.
I was almost done with celeste when Valve forced the update. Windows 7 is next.
Being a NEET should be considered a crime
Console games are now licences too, this shit is horrible on all fronts
Same as Sony, but I don't see you saying anything about them.
They just stop working, unless you have the game already installed and can execute the .exe directly (most don't allow it and need steam on)

There's 4, do I guess you win
I don't care
