I've never owned a computer that could play current gen games (other than maybe back in the early 90's when I'd play floppy disc games on my dad's work computer), and the last three consoles I've owned were PSP, PS3, and N64. I decided to go for a Switch this time and absolutely love it. Other than Zelda I can't see shelling out $300+ to play a bunch of games you can play on PC or earlier systems, but never having played most of the big ones I love the portability (not that I ever leave the house with it) and how easy it is to pick up and play. My TV is only 720, so I don't even mind it's less powerful, and I play 90% in handheld anyway.

Well, Nintendo makes the two most relevant non-phone handhelds.

Current console gen is truly the worst ever, but at least the PS4 has a few good exclusives worth playing, unlike the X1 which literally has nothing LMAO.

Only reason I have PS4/Switch and not Xbone/Switch is because my one friend was the first to buy a current gen console and he got a PS4, so the other 6 of us had to get PS4s for Battlefield. Regretted it ever since.

Micosoft has halo/gears/forza/others to carry it thru w 3rd parties equaling the brunt of sales.Ms big thing is keeping its core happy, and building studios to support and grow that core. It is why they kept spamming attachment base this or last year.
