If you didn't notice this in the first half of Endgame then you weren't really paying attention. Infinity War was basically one giant laser focused war punctuated by intense battles that all had the same goal leading up to a satisfying climax. Endgame was just all over the place, the first hour, the second hour and the third one felt like 3 separate movies.

An XCOM style game could definitely be cool. Something with more emphasis on each individual character's set of abilities when compared to Fire Emblem.
On a more action basis, I would like us to get an Iron Man, high tech armor combat game. We already have a pretty good Hulk game, Spider-Man had many great games over the years, Captain America wouldn't be too different from your run-of-the-mill Arkahm-style combat... Iron Man is the big outlier out there, no games properly capture the idea of playing and fighting as him.

Of course it was better, a movie about a winning villain is not something you see every day.

Weird how so many people shit on 3's gameplay for almost its entire lifespan for not being 2, having x-factor, dark pheonix, and vergil, but now it's the best since Infinite shit the bed on almost every front. I like Infinite's gameplay a lot. I think the tag system is fun as hell, the stones while not executed the greatest especially at launch is a neat take on Marvel Super Heroes system, and Sigma's everything makes him the best Mega Man character in a fighting game.

Upon rewatching I found that the battle of Wakanda was not good and I loved Black Panther (comics and movies). Seeing Steve and T'Challa outrunning everyone to get to the front lines was great, Thor's entrance was great, the dusting was great, but everything else just wasn't that good. So it's not "Cap has Mjolnir now", it's "Cap had Mjolnir for one fight and now neither of them are available" so there are no "more options"

One thing is for sure, I can definitely already tell that most of the new characters they have left to add don't interest me though. I've seen it twice and the reaction to this both times was a tiny bit of cheer and then what seemed like surprise afterwards that there wasn't a bigger reaction. It's weird because they basically did the same thing during Infinity War during the big Wakanda scene with Black Widow and Black Baldie jumping in to save Scarlet Witch from Proxima Midnight, but the way it was done was so much better.

The Endgame pan out over all the female characters who are all there just posing felt so much more forced.

Wonder Woman could have been great. I even liked Gal Gadot in the role.

I think that comes down to the movie having to be an origin story. Aside from GotG and BP, every MCU origin movie has been anywhere from only okay all the way down to miserable.

I think Strange is in a good place for a sequel, if they do one. Mordo is the obvious choice for sequel bait, but with the time stone gone, Dormammu can totally step in as the new big bad. If they do go that route, Strange being one of the co-leaders of the new Avengers alongside Marvel, would make the most sense.

He definitely needs another hero to play off of though. By himself, he's just magical Tony Stark, but when given another strong personality to match wits with, he really shines.

Spider-Man is the only game in the MGU thus far. And yes, it will likely easily be topped by the sequels let alone if the likes of Naughty Dog or Santa Monica do Marvel games at some point. Although God of War is basically already a Thor game.

Being magical Tony Stark in a way is not so bad when we're out of technological Tony Starks by this point, so he certainly has a niche to step in and fill. Captain Marvel's character has always been shit and trying to fix her within the comics is a forlorn hope at this point. All she really did was blow up his ship, carry the gauntlet for a little bit just like Hawkguy, Black Panther, and Spidey did before her, and then get punched so hard by Thanos she looked like a Smash Bros character getting hit by the hammer powerup at 200% damage.
