What are your feelings on the OG Xbox, the 360, & the Xbone individually?

Outstanding for its time, the switch from CRT to Flatscreen HDMI really sold it. Outlived its welcome by 6 years. Fuck Microsoft for ruining the navigation menu.

Never got it at launch was too busy with the 360 but I got a slim and I love it. Considering an Xbox X just to play my shit enhanced but no 4K TV so it's whatever. Way better than the PS4 the only worthwhile exclusive is Bloodborne and maybe Persona 5 not to mention the controller is dogshit.

God I hate all the fucking zoomers who clam the OG xbox is dogshit and has no games while the games that still remain OG xbox exclusive slowly rot. Same goes with 360 games, ESPECIALLY the japanese exclusive 360 games. Nothing deserves to fade from existence.

Anyway I do admit the xbox and 360's exclusive library isn't as impressive as shit on sony or nintendo's platforms but still, just ignoring them is kinda shitty and only makes for dumb console war bullshit.

That aside. The OG xbox had the best hardware of it's generation and the 360 could of as well if Microsoft didn't rush the thing up the ass.

I'm not going to lie the XBONE has nothing going for it aside from gamepass. I'm not even sure if microsoft will make another console at this point.

No I just have no idea what the hell they'll do. Yeah they'll probably make something but what. All the PS5 has going for it right now is some fancy sounding raytracing shit and some sort of magical backwards compatibility with the previous 4 playstation libraries.

Me and my GF had some of the same games when we moved in together. How we ended up with 3 copies of wind waker I don’t know.

OG XBOX: Great console, library was limited compared to PS2 but it had some great titles and Xbox Live and online multiplayer were revolutionary.

Xbox 360: Also a great console, library was comparable to PS3. Mine did Red Ring on me but it was still under warranty so I sent it to MS and they repaired it, sent it back to me and reimbursed me for the shipping inside a week so I can't say it really bothered me that much.

Xbone: A failed console. PS4 has a much better set of exclusives but even then this console generation has been so weak that I've just stuck with PC. Maybe I'll buy a console next gen.

The XBOX was pretty great for its time. It made me able to play PC ports that I could never play on my shitty PC (DOOM 3, Half-Life 2) and it had some pretty awesome weebilicious exclusives that I really liked and left a lasting impression on me (Otogi, Metal Wolf Chaos, Gunvalkyrie)

The 360 was my go-to console on that generation. The controller was comfy as fuck, lots of hidden gems on the XBOX Live Store. plenty of exclusives, ran multiplats better than the PS4 for the most part. I enjoyed it a lot and still do.

Fuck the XBONE, they should literally just make all XBONE games playable on Windows 10. Piece of shit garbage system with no games.

360 made me seethe a bit for ports, i didn't have an actual good PC yet, and the framerate of the Far Cry 3 PS3 port is actual dog shit compared to the 360, the games framerate would literally dip to 14 in cutscenes.

OG Xbox is based. I can see that one is hardmodded and has switches and a LED on the bottom left.
I installed emulators up to PS1 on my xbox and had an 80GB hard drive with a bunch of xbox games on it. It was really cool to so easily be able to play all those old games on any CRT TV with gamepads for up to 4 players. There were a lot of good xbox games too for local multiplayer, like Halo

Set gaming back forever.
