I really liked Pearl's introduction and the ending with Miles and Franciska, wont' deny the clown fiesta filler case is 100% garbage.
Wish I could get into FFX more. Great music and overall story direction, but awful attempts at world building and some of the characters just fell so flat.
Enderal looks cool, I'll be sure to check it out soon.

Witcher 3 was great I loved the dialogue, world exploring, and events since they actually reward you for being invested in the quest lines rather than just giving the usual YOU CAN'T DO THAT YET treatment.
If you want a recommendation I really loved F.E.A.R from a gameplay standpoint that or I'm just a sucker for slo mo.
BL2 was great and I played as every vault hunter at least once but I kinda wish they kept the same scaling as BL1.
I would recommend Tales of Berseria to you because of it's fast gameplay and RPG elements just keep in mind the characters will take some getting used to.
I'd recommend Pokemon Mystery Dungeon if you haven't played it already the story in each game is always deeper than you'd expect.

5/7 +BotW, MGR, Star Fox 64, Fable, Halo 2 -MGS V, Darksiders
MGS V is the only main title I've played and despite having cool mechanics it felt pretty half baked in almost every aspect. There was a lot of weird down time in that game that felt unnecessary and made it hard to play.
4/5 +P4, CT, Viewtiful Joe, Arkham City -Fallout NV

AYO THIS BOY FUCKIN GOOD
liked muramasa a lot, played it on wii and own the vita version with dlc but haven’t revisited it yet. dragon’s crown wasn’t for me gameplay-wise and aegis rim looks disappointing for the amount of development time it’s taken
Fable or Sekiro
Lobotomy Corporation
VtM Bloodlines
i borrowed this from a friend but didn’t like the combat initially. worth trying again?
>Fable or Sekiro
Played both but thanks for the rec anyway. Love Sekiro, definitely my GoTY so far. Had some good times with Fable when I was a teen.
The combat definitely isn't the selling point, it's the story and attention to detail in the side quests that make it stand out. It's just an incredibly well realised world, most likely due to the games being based off books. With that being said I don't think the combat is completely dreadful. It's pretty bare bones and easy, but it's passable. How many hours did you put into it?
Purple is core 3x3. Recommend me games with high replay value and have similar vibes to my favorites, but not necessarily in their genres. Once the semester is over I'm going to try and find some FPS/Stealth/RPG games I think I'd enjoy. I have a shortlist but more is appreciated.
Play Transformers Devastation
Play Megaman Zero Collection
Play Dragon's Dogma
I doubt I could think of anything you've never played that you'd like.
Play Aztez.
Play Titanfall 2 (I haven't gotten around to it myself but I feel like you'd enjoy it)
Play The Wonderful 101.
Play Fairy Bloom Freesia. Also, what's Cross Code like?
Play Battle Chef Brigade.
I get the feeling you should dig into the back catalog of PS2 action games. Shadow of Rome (precursor to Dead Rising), Ghost Rider PS2 (DMC1 clone), Shinobi, Chaos Legion, etc.
Dusk

Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Ace Combat

FighterZ helped fill the UMvC3-shaped void in my heart even if it's not a perfect fit. I still love watching high-level play, labbing it out to chill out, and most of the character themes.
Good news, AB Climax mobile got re-released via SEGA Forever line. It's free to download but with ads between stages, $2 to go adless forever. It's the console version with worse visuals and mobile controls but a 4th plane (a stealth bomber). It existing is a good sign since the original was pulled for plane rights and the mobile version has them back.
Try the Blade Runner adventure game.

Play Dishonored, if you haven't already that is. While it seem like a stealth game at first glance it can also effectively be a murder mayhem sandbox where the fun comes from styling on enemies with all the toys you have available, which might sound familiar to you.
Yes I totally dig the mystery dungeon games, red rescue didn't make the cut for my 3x3 just barely. Really good picks btw, we have a lot of overlap in taste.
That's why I said with a disclaimer I changed it from my old one. I used to not list because I'd get shit for it (CoD 4) but over the course of me playing games it's easily my most played game. Spent a good 500 hrs on the PC version, probably more on the 360 version, and I have 2 weeks in game time on the PS4 remaster version. Safe to say it's probably my favorite game and to omit it would be lying for internet brownie points.

Yo super based to see a yugioh game on here. Feel like the later tag force games were slept on and Special was dope. Does that have a full english TL now? Don't even want it for the cards just the character endings
That might be a good assessment. I played Thief Gold and it was really good but I rarely found myself engaged. Dishonored I've heard is a spiritual successor with more combat and fun tools. It's on the list of Stealth games to try.
>10000 Bullets
The intro alone sold me and watching the Tutorial really impressed me, system-wise. It's on the list. I hope the PS5 actually can play PS2 discs because there's a good chunk of games I'd want to get copies of and having a system that can run those and all my PS3/PS4 games would be worth it.
What's the deal with special being so different to the other tag force games? I really like the aspect of slowly collecting cards but in special I was able to make a full XYZ spam deck with crazy cards right out of the gate.
normie
ima little bland right now but i want some recs so why not

based Hitman, Play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. if you haven't already
It's translated, but outside the card descriptions the dialogue is pretty meme tier. I still find some of the dumb shit kind of funny.
There should have been a limit on the boosters you could buy in each era. Like the xyz only buyable in Arc-V. It's more a best-of and trimmed off a lot of the padding, me idc about the dating sim aspect. It's a matter of circumstance that this is my favorite because it's really all we have and this is quick to pick up and portable. Legacy of the Duelist is piss slow, Duel Links is gacha-tier grind and can feel suffocating coming off the real thing.

CrossCode is an amazing action RPG that focuses heavily on both combat and puzzle solving. It has great characters, challenging long dungeons, amazing side quests, also the soundtrack is always nice to listen to. Just keep in mind you'll have to do sidequests and go for chests since some reviews on steam mention a grind if you try to go only for the story I think. The game is also challenging both combat and puzzle wise so don't expect it to be a walk in the park. One more thing the second major dungeon is the only annoying one.

>3x3 thread
>post a 4x4
Sounds interesting. I'll have to give some gameplay a look. Dragon's Dogma opened my mind to ARPGs if the combat is engaging enough.
People just have their 4x4s and 5x5s for these now. Nothing wrong with them if they could narrow down to the 3x3 within it.

gta 4 free roam with a trainer mod I guess
>fortnite
Fucking yes this. I've been doing exactly this for over a decade now. Head up to upper Manhattan and you'll get your wish. You don't even need a trainer to dodge the police. I used to make a game out of going on M4 sprees and see if I can escape the wanted level. 4 was the best GTA and this is partly why. Best ghetto negro murder simulator.
