This looks like the most FUN game to be released in awhile. We do play games for FUN right?

Kill yourself.

not if it’s on epic

holy crap this looks BAD ADD

I haven't watched the footage but I don't know what people see in these games. Bullet sponge enemies are just dull.

>FUN
not really. and this coming from someone who played the ever-loving shit out of 1 & 2. I'm just bored of the RPG/MMO mechanics + Guns = bullet sponge enemies. Also tired of the art style. cellshading isn't as novel anymore
just tired of the series in general, I'm playing better games now

Why does this look like Asura's Wrath or Bayonetta 2?

have you played a RPG before?

how dumb do you have to be to compare FPS gameplay with JRPG gameplay?

is that a motherfucking jojo reference???

>We do play games for FUN right?
No. Btw i hope your game has white straight male representation otherwise i can't play it because i don't identify with other races.

shooting a gun at something should NEVER feel weak in a FPS. level scaling, standard mmo shit stats, etc don't mix well with guns IMO

being underleveled (AKA, you didn't go back and grind) is like playing with a HL2 pistol or Doom pistol. fuck that

Because it's as fucking fps/rpg
Hit/Health points are usually in rpg's to show leveling

because you both do the same thing, click a button, make a number pop up, over and over again in repetition with little to no strategy other than some basic debuffs to kill an enemy and then do that an infinite amount of times

the gameplay is completly different. in FF you're waiting for your turn and thinking about what to do next. In borderlands you're just standing still holding down the shoot button like a brainless monkey.

Then you haven't been playing Borderlands right, because there are guns that always feel powerful. Just look at OP8 gameplay on YouTube, it's people just absolutely shredding through mobs that have THE highest health scaling in the game.

I haven't watched the footage yet, is it still Diablo but as an FPS? I don't want to offend any Diablo fans, since 2 is a sacred cow on Yea Forums, but holy fuck was that game shit. It was just clicking and clicking on enemies for hours. And yes I know there are abilities and stuff and optimizing and making a chain of abilities is some good shit but once you make a very good one you just stick with it for hours until you unlock another one that might be useful and slot it in the sequence then back to the grind with a story nobody cares about and which the only fun things are watching numbers get higher as you get more loot. Is just, so fucking tiresome. If 3 is still on the same line I can't see it being "fun".

>thinking about what to do next
ask me how I know you've never played a single final fantasy game

Guns feel underpowered in pretty much every game.

just because you do the same attack over and over doesn't mean everyone does.

I don't play trash like looter shooters.

I just don't like level scaling. Feels incredibly cheap -- and way out of place in a FPS. sure you can min-max and get ridiculous gear, but all that requires grinding. I'd rather grind in an actually MMO like OSRS or grind in a game like Path of Exile / Grim Dawn.
The loot just isn't as satisfying in Borderlands; but I'd love to be wrong and BL3 turn out to be good when I pirate it.

I like them in Bloodborne and Arcanum. They can be done right sometimes

The new Claptrap VA is really bad. I don't know if it's the material or he just isn't having fun with the role
