My problem with the Epic launcher is LITERALLY the launcher itself. The functionality of the thing is bare minimum and the font used SUCKS COCK. Lower case I's are displayed the same as lower case l's and it's infuriating to actually use the launcher for anything besides launching games.

Rocket League uses its own servers that aren't tied to Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo/Steam, which is why all console and PC players can play together. Epic would have to pull some shit to separate Steam and Epic client players. everybody on PC should be able to play with one another.

Steam has required a competitor for over a decade so Epic getting into the market isn't a bad thing as it will promote Steam to not have a client from 2004 anymore, and maybe even get them to make games again.

I also don't think Epic games has the enough players on their platform to warrant any of the recent exclusives. Borderlands 3 on Steam would be flooded with players, whereas on Epic who's going to play it? The only people with an Epic launcher right now are people playing Fortnite, and why would they play anything other than Fortnite?

Tim is the problem, tim has no fucking idea what he's doing because he's not a good business man, he's a good developer who managed to get insanely rich by selling games and licensing a game engine.

Someone like jeff bezos got rich because he started a business and expanded and improved that business over and over to the point where amazon is encroaching on multiple industries at once, tim got rich off of epic games, unreal engine and fortnite, he has no idea how to successfully grow a business beyond that, this is why tim is so anti-consumer while bezos is pro consumer to the point that his employees are basically slaves to the consumer. Funny enough epic devs are basically slaves too but we as customers don't benefit from that unless you like throwing money at v-bucks.

Here's my prediction, epic throws more and more money at devs to get into the market, they lose a lot of money in the process until investors give them an ultimatum, make some money or lose investors. Right now fortnite is making a lot of money and tim is pissing that money away, that is not good for business.

Rocket league it's my favourite multiplayer game ever, I've played nearly 1k hours and I love it. That being said Psyonix dudes are fucking greedy, first crates and dlcs, then rocket pass and esport shop (I saw wheels priced 11€, I mean what the fuck) and now this Epic Store stuff. The best thing about PC gaming was that there weren't exclusives like consoles but now it's worst than ps/xbox feud. I think I will stop playing games soon.
