I like this, but it seems doomed to be crushed between smartphones and Nintendo.
Amico
what happened to the new atari box
I think that was more of a collectors throwback item, it was pretty cool too. but this is meant be a true modern family console. If they can get a lot of developer support like the Earthworm Jim guys, it could work. It would be interesting to see large developers release small projects on it
I like the look of it I will probably buy one just for that
Too groovy for its own good
Speaking of which, did Doug get the rights back then? He's been kinda battling for years with the guy who (hopefully formally) owned the rights
>slapping a dead decades old company name on some trash shit
Is this OUYA 2: Electric Boogaloo?
currently hiding from their kickstarter backers and cooking up a plan to skip town
This isn't some Kickstarter shit, and you have to admit in this era of corporate behemoths, it's nice to root for the little guy with SOUL.
>we'll fund all the games developed for the Amico, and have high scrutiny and go for quality over quantity
what kind of shitty ass attitude is this, the console is going to fail
What's the problem with that? You want shovelware just use your phone. 100 neatly polished games for the console would be better than relying on an app store full of shit
You know that's a derogatory word for "American" in Japanese?
I can hear Steve Jobs in my head saying "a widescreen iPod with touch controls" from the original iPhone announcement
Nigger?
This looks like one of those shitty fake next gen console mockups from around 2007.
You're right, we need another square box that looks like a VCR.
>actually liking this shit
You're right, we need a big, awkward, spherical console so that it stick out like a sore thumb on entertainment centers and takes up far more space than necessary. All of them need to be curved so you can't reasonably stack other consoles or dvd players on top. Impracticality is the future.
what am i looking at exactly
>Tommy Tallarico finally using his power and money to resurrect his favorite franchises with Intellivision
FINISH THE TRILOGY
YOU FUCKER
The joke went through that gaping hole where your brain should be.
Here let me speak proper dialect with a wojack so your sub-human brain can understand me.
maybe you should reread the post, you absolute mongoloid.
Intellivision's most enduring legacy will be this game, and it will mostly be jokes about how everyone had a uncle who gifted us this garbage romset/emulator combo filled with mostly bizzare unplayable turds because it was like $15 or something
Ressurecting a game people nostalgia for but in the end was just a 2D mascot platformer like every other game isn't gonna help this brand
Is this 2008?
Signs we're near the end of the market cycle that started March 2009
>Can't understand sarcastic jokes and considers them genuine inquiries
You really are a genuine clinical retard.
>I-I was only pretending to be retarded
every time
Different user here. Clearly a joke, you're fuckin' braindead.
>I'm just passing by to white knight my boyfriend
ok, samefag.
Nice try, retard. Not my fault you've got a gaping chasm in place of grey matter.
Imsge didn't show
I kind of like it, except for
>that controller
>bluetooth
If you're some autistic boomer like me who still likes old 2D games, then you sure as FUCK don't want a wireless controllers, let alone one without a dpad. How the hell can you make a console aimed at this stuff and get this part wrong??
kek you used almost the same exact insult you used before when you were "someone else" and then proved you're phoneposting with a different IP. Good fucking job, pablo.
It's because they're cheap as hell. This console is basically the midlevel between shitty $10 emulator boxes and android boxes.
What's with boomer companies showing up out of nowhere to release some shitty console nowadays? First Atari and now this? What's next, is Midway gonna release some new cabinets? Sega gonna release the Dreamcast 2?
NEW EARTHWORM JIM CONFIRMED FOR THE AMICO
THIS IS NOT A DRILL!
