>playing
have they even added gameplay yet
i went back to check it when they added gen 2 but they still didnt have pvp outside of those awful gym battles

Pokémon is a dead series, only people who play it now are children and autistic guys who didn't get the memo.

It's just your typical mobile skinner box cash shop bullshit

Plenty of normal people like to play the mainline games, they're quite fun. I'm playing through BW2 right now

Sounds like the entire vidya industry as a whole

Its alright, they added pvp a few updates ago. It feels like every other update they help new players catch up a little more with the "one time only" meta pokemon that dominate pve and pvp. They also made it so you dont need it open to do everything, now it counts your steps when its closed and syncs the distance walked when you open it again.

Has PvP and trading nowadays. The PvP is still really fucking barebones, but I like it more than the gym battle system. No dodging, limited amount of shields to block charge attacks with, most of the gameplay comes from timing a switch so you eat a charge-attack with something that resists it.

Only if you gps spoof

This game sucks, and it's hella gay. I reinstalled it last October while I was bored and thought: this game sucks and it's hella gay, but I just wanted to catch em all and shit so I decided to make something productive out of it.
I started jogging while having the game on my pocket with a turn-off screen app installed so it still tracked it all, I've never done any exercise consistently so I forced myself to jog everyday and I couldn't because it was painful but eventually managed to have a schedule and now I jog for 8km 3 times a week, I have the game in my pocket but I rarely ever check it, I just open a couple of eggs every session and that's enough to keep me going.

I wasn't fat but now I almost got rid of a bit of belly I had without changing eating habits, I'm 5kg slimmer and I'm starting to see myself a little bit toned, also I've built a lot of stamina and I feel it in everyday life.
Pokemon Go sucks, and the people that play it "hardcore" are mostly very cringy irl, but it can trick your brain into making something good out of it.

I'm going to be the first guy and probably the only guy to say that this game was pretty fun. It's just kind of an interesting thing to do if you're bored, and if you are having trouble getting /fit/ then this game actually gives some motivation to get started. It helped me anyway.

They fucked the way you find pokemon, and if you're trying to be competitive you're gonna be fucked by all the spoofers.

There's no point for me to go out, because all I find are garbage pokemons, there's no excitement about finding anything rare besides shinies because you can only get good shit from raids and sometimes eggs, maybe you'll get a 100% IV pokemon but it's going to be a god damn shit tier pokemon that's worth nothing, while some faggot flying all over the world from his home has every pokemon he wants and trades event shit you can't get.

No, and I say that as someone who plays it constantly.

this. it's alright to play if you're using it while walking to your classes or as an excuse to exercise and go on walks. If you go out of your way to raid every day then youre doing it wrong.

No, it never was.
The only good thing about it was the fact that it got people to go outside and get some sun & exercise.

and IMAGINE this:
There are people who "play" the game by spoofing = cheating your gps to think you're moving but you're just in your fucking house masturbating and being a fat pathetic cuck.

Imagine someone doing that, in a game as shitty as pokemon go.

Just play a real pokemon game.

The combat is a fucking joke.

Addition of a second move helped a bit but the movepools are still bad. No builds.

The new adventure sync is a good motivation for exercising
It's fun if you play it casually, but min-maxing/tryharding it will leave you burnt out quickly when you realize how little depth/endgame reward there is

It’s a fun game to play while out jogging or biking. My wife and I play it a lot when we go to the zoo or take our dog to the park for walks. You really shouldn’t take it too seriously though. Like just catch cool Pokémon and fight at gyms if you want

I don't even play the game, you lazy retard

cope

If you can call jogging and biking with having to constantly check your phone for virtual creatures and gyms. Let alone doing this shit daily.

I used to be like this too until I realized that I was pretty much the slave of the game. 3 years playing this massive garbage, made some friends, had fun but this game is just an addiction.

I rather just listen to music on my jogging.

Cope with what?
It's none of my business if you're an autist who has the worst taste in games possible.

You can legit come at me and give me ONE good reason why anyone should play this garbage game.
yet, the only good reason is exercise, and if you don't play it for that, then what other fucking purpose does it serve?
it's horseshit, no trading, poor as fuck pvp, no balance, no "love" for your pokemons (because you just keep converting them to candy whenever you find a better one)

Go on then, baitmaster, your move.

I used it as a stepping stone out of being a shut in, but I lost my account. I have no motivation to go back to it.
