Well, obviously this wasn't the ideal outcome for anyone. I'm just thinking about what the thought process would be for Leon rather than just he killed because he wanted to. It's possible that it was just because he wanted to, but it's still left up to interpretation and considering he killed because of a situation someone else set up I doubt he was thinking about murder as an option beforehand. Plus, I would always assume the worst case scenario, and considering Leon wasn't in much danger as he had the knife and Sayaka was injured, getting inside the bathroom to confront his would-be killer wasn't much of a risk. And from there him stabbing Sayaka could be a result of Sayaka trying to fight back and getting killed in the struggle.

Well the DR team are massive PlayStation fanboys so that's why. While I'd love it on Switch because the portable audience would have somewhere to go after Vita, I kinda doubt they'll move it there and would move it to the next Playstation hardware which would be PS5 since they've had it on every PS hardware after PS2.
