Beat the game

>doesn't come up with an explanation himself, first.
have diabetes.

Games with great stories ruined by crappy endings

>beat game
>immediately start it again
games with this feel? for me dead space comes to mind

>be a leaf
>will get arrested if I look at underage drawings
>look up CHARACTER NAME age on google
>autocompletes to "CHARACTER NAME death"

>buy new game
>look up the entire playthrough on YouTube before playing

>read its tvtropes page

>fiinish game
>look up 5 hour thesis on youtube

either you are retarded or you are playing some pretentious bullshitting game

>beat the game
>immediately look up "GAME all bosses no damage"
>see all the obvious tactics and strategies I should've been using to make the game easier for myself

NG+ count? Dark Souls 2 for me.

>watch full playthrough on youtube
>decide to buy the game afterwards

I think it's a bit different with NG+ games because it incentivises additional playthroughs. It's not like beating Crash Bandicoot as a kid and immediately starting a second playthrough. Took me 6 months to beat it the first time, took me 6 months to beat it the second time. Then Crash 2 came out and I moved up.

>beat game
>look up speedrun

I never understood this shit.
I once looked up a few scenes frok horror movies on YouTube and since then my recommended feed's only been people explaining horror movie endings.
Are people seriously this fucking retarded?

>finish a game
>immediately go to the wikipedia article on it
>watch youtube videos about it
>go to Yea Forums to discuss it
>think about it while falling asleep
Am I autistic?

I am disgusted how often I had to do this lately. Is there something wrong with me?
>Arkham Knight ending
>Dragon's Dogma ending
>Yakuza Kiwami ending
>New Vegas Lonesome Road ending
>Darkest Dungeon ending

I just sat there before my monitor being all wtf, and I swear I was trying to pay attention.

>play game skipping all cutscenes and dialogues
>look up the plot after finishing it

>immediately look up "GAME NAME ending explained" on Youtube
>YOU WHATS UP YOUTUBE ITS YA BOY-
>immediately close video

>watch movie
>check iMDB for easter eggs
>read its tvtropes page

I think if you need to look up shit like "ending explained" and need to watch analysis videos and things of the sort to narratively or thematically get the game at all, its either an extremely complicated narrative, which id imagine is rarely the case, or you're just not paying attention and don't know how to appreciate/interpret art properly, tbqh

I don't do it for games, but I do have a tendency to read a movie's plot on wikipedia after watching it to pick up on anything I might missed.

This. It is especially obnoxius when they put in a fucking facetime of themselves as well. Nobody gives a shit about you we came for answers!

>beat the game
>immediately look up "GAME NAME ending explained" on Youtube and Steam discussions
>there are none
Goddammit I just wanna talk about INSOMNIA: The Ark's weird af endings and what they mean

Prey 2017

Came here to write this

>Look up a trailer for a game I'm interested in
>Top suggestion is GAMENAME X KILLS Y FULL SCENE

>buy game
>don't like playing it
>return it and watch it on youtube instead

>cant beat a boss
>decide to spoil everything and look up the rest of the game because i dont think ill get past the boss
>the next week i beat the boss
FUCK YOU MARIO
FUCK YOU SPLATOON
FUCK YOU POKEMON

I do it just to support the devs

The fact there's so many ending explained videos just reminds me that most people barely even pay attention to what they experience. Which is exactly why everything is so shallow these days, the internet has ruined everyone's attention span. Except for me of course.

of course

It can't be possible to be not only this shit, but to not have any semblance of perseverance

tvtropes is so awful but I have a years-long built habit of reading it while I'm eating

>finish a game
>immediately head to its TVTropes page

Attached: 1542091538339.jpg (1124x1102, 100K)

No, I just don't feel like replaying the game to collect every single piece of lore, alternate character questline or memos to piece together the story.

Resident Evil 2 (1998)

I don't think I've played an A scenario without immediately following it up with a B scenario in years. It would just feel wrong.

I did this once with TW3

Massive fucking waste of time

>beat game
>beat it again a bunch of times as a kid because I loved it
>now I can't even get halfway through a game

Attached: 1548523426901.jpg (1012x750, 209K)

Is anything even remotely useful said in this video? Fuck these nerds for not knowing how to be concise and straight to the point

Legend

>start a game
>go to it's TVTropes page while you're not playing it
>absentmindedly click on spoiler tags and ruin plot points for yourself

this

>buy game, don't even open the box/application
>immediately look up "GAME NAME full OST (extended) on Youtube

Attached: 1553204144789.gif (800x450, 2.59M)

>play game
>predict ending
>spoil yourself

Attached: 1555893083573.png (539x715, 569K)

What was wrong with the ending? I put CEL back in control. As much as Regis hates it, I feel like he hates Nina a lot more, so it didn't feel right siding with her.

>start game
>look up how to get the best ending

>meet new female npc, especially younger ones
>immediately look them up on paheal

Attached: 1543083413197.jpg (640x640, 79K)

it's actually really interesting to have things be broken down to an autistic level, helps you appreciate game design.

>play game released before 2007
>shamefully give license to self to look up how to proceed when getting stuck
