I mainly play tanks, but I also love playing heals/support because I love the feeling of helping people out and being nice in general. Kindness is the best drug. dude btw

I have great respect for monks and healer classes in PvP. I feel bad for them desu. I hate PvE healer classes though, I fucking hate them. When GW2 announced there won't be a healer class I rejoiced. Back in GW1, PvE healer classes acted like bigshots that demand you lick their balls all the time or else they won't heal you. I still remember this asshole healer in a mission I joined in GW1. I forgot to take a screenshot, I could have social engineered my way to his guild in GW2 and have gotten more details on him. Great respect on PvP healers though. I remember I tried Mercy once back in June 2016. That meme about Genji needing heals but he is not on the payload. It was true. I went back to Rein immediately and stayed on the payload.

Depends. If they're playing with a BF or something, they're relegated to pocket healers unless they're willing to have a backbone and learn another role. Also supports tend to be given female characters with designs they like. Soft, cute, etc.

Come to think of it, support classes are underappreciated for their micro-management skills. They've got to time their heals and buffs for maximum MP to heals turn around, they got to contend with enemies targeting you first as well. Support classes are the real job classes for men.

They are. DPS players are microdicked boys who need to "perform" and "KILL" in a game because in real life they haven't accomplished anything so they need to pretend they're the center of attention. The problem is they made the classes so braindead that even women can play them, so you're setill a brainlet for playing those

You think that takes anything, but the reality is tanks need to know everything more than any other fucking class, and also how to babysit and manage a group of 5/10/25/40 because you're the leader of the group 99% of the time and if you aren't, you're doing something wrong.
I mean healing was kinda tough for a while in the early/mid 2000s but its too fucking easy now.

It's instincts, they look after the babies. And any activity that requires looking after someone is someone they will enjoy, there are exceptions, but most of them are like that.

in most games healers just need to rotate their 3-5 skills that are often just AOE or single target and thats it, thats all there is to it
while tanks and dps have to actually think about what they are doing
support players could literally just be replaced by bots in most games and not only nobody would notice but it would make the game way better

i just think that females have less mechanical skills and hand-eye coordination than men do so they opt for roles that have lesser emphasis on precision and skill (most of the time)

Because a healer takes care of others, taking care of others is a maternal instinct, so it appeals to them.
Plus, Mercy is a motherly girl, on top of that.
