The TF2 team is down to 2 people, and community offers to support it are being ignored.
Aperture Hand Labs is literally a free tech demo that's not even made by Valve.
Their 2019 VR 'flagship' is 'HLVR'. This is rumored to be a spinoff but we really don't know, it could as easily be HL3. It is being made in Source 2, and will presumably bring full Source 2 tools release along with it.

What the fuck are you talking about? How did you get either of these ideas? Unity causing Valve to cancel a game just doesn't make any sense. I can't even follow what you might be thinking. TF2 will continue plodding along with semi-annual content updates and rebalances forever until Valve makes an actual TF3.
