Because why not
Days Gone thread
Yea Forums isn't actually playing this western AAA garbage are they?
It's good. Aside from the melee weapon durability being garbo (a crowbar breaks easily?) And your bike having a 2km range on a tank, its enjoyable. 7/10
are the zombies seriously called freakers?
fucking freakers?
I enjoyed it while it lasted, even if there's nothing original about it.
named after "mom's gonna freak" for gamers, of course
Should've called them Tweakers and made NARC 2 instead
How far sre you lol? All stuff you mentioned is non issue few hours in
They are more mutants than zombies really
RDR1 was my favorite vidya until I played RDR2, which is now my personal benchmark for Third Person Open World games.
Is Days Gone a comfy game? Is it more arcadey than comfy? Is it fun? How invested should I get in the characters and the narrative?
The big zombie hordes chasing you looks fucking radical, how dangerous do these Zekes feel?
It took a little while for me to get into but after it opened up I'm enjoying the hell out of it. I love the melee combat the animations just look really good. I do find it weird that the voice acting goes from cringey to excellent a lot. The shooting does feel odd. Feels like there's a delay in the aiming and the game use an aim acceleration to compensate making you overshoot your target. Overall I'm enjoying it it's a lot of fun and nowhere near deserving the average to bad reviews it's getting. For me it's a solid 8. Kinda reminds me of Dying Light and Mad. Two games that scored meh with most gaming journalists but ended up being two of my favorite games this gen.
Comfy af, not really arcadey, has light rpg elements. Freakers and hordes are dangerous, but depending on difficulty you play they can be more or less trouble. I love the world in this and stories. Side missions feel like main narrative. Kinda like witcher 3 great side missions
>not using the broken road bike paint
Bruh
>western
What do you think literally everyone here is a fucking weeb like you? Lmao get help you fucking freaker
Pretty damn comfy, great atmosphere and nice chunky combat
no everyone actually has the exact same taste as you
How scary are the freakers? are they just cannon fodder or are they a force to wary of?
Low on supplies and if theres more than 5 they can wreck your shit. The hoards are honestly no joke. You have to divide and conquer them. Then again I'm playing on hard.
Early game If a horde spots you and you arent close to your bike you're pretty much fucked
money's gone
>feels like there's a delay in the aiming
I thought I was crazy because I haven't seen anyone else mention that. Thought I was the only one that thought that.
hows the horde game play is there a lot of instances were you can lead one into a bandit camp or whatever. saw that in a video on yt looks fun
>You can royally fuck up and be eaten alive early game
Fuck YEAH, THAT'S a kino experience!
More games need catastrophic failures
you are expected to ride away on your bike or deal with stealth for the majority of the encounters with them
open fighting is almost never worth it unless you are cornered
you get overwhelmed very easily
any group over a dozen is a threat
nice
Clearing infestations is up there fun wise with bike riding and hordes. The ways you can take them on, especially in stealth are fun. Ive had a lot of close calls and it just makes game more enjoyable
western games are all trash, and that's a fact.
>No images of zombie animals
dropped.
I was expecting Red Dead Redemption - tier Zombie animals and large hordes, not one or the other
