One of my favorite co-op games. I don't think there's really anything wrong with it aside from being less of a survival horror, but it's still incredible compared to resident evil 6. It just comes down to "is it bad game?" no." Is it a bad Resident Evil?" Maybe. I've played it countless times over with different people and all of them have fond memories of us playing together, it creates a lot of those moments.

It's not scary at all. Only the first stage has anything remotely horror related.

Still a fun game though and I loved all the different weapons in the game.

inventory has a lot of tech
on top of the basic 4 d-pad binds you can still mix ammo with a gun to skip a reload or mix herbs on the fly by mashing the drag button, it also accepts prompts to mix shit
if you're fast it's easy to deal with but the problem is it takes a lot of time to get used to

Playing it in the village level front of my sister gave her nightmares and made her terrified of blacks. To this day, she explicitly names RE5 as the reason why she doesn't like niggers

Like all RE games it starts off great and then just gets progressively worse. Still better than 6 though.

The terrible AI ruins the single-player experience. Outside of that, it's basically just an inferior imitation of RE4: it doesn't really bring anything new to the table, and it has worse enemies, weapons, environments, etc.

This was my first major SJW foothold I even noticed in the video game sphere. The real kicker is that it was perpetuated by people who were so ignorant about RE that they didn't even know that it's made by Japanese people, and Capcom capitulated anyway.

If it wasn't for Wesker and jill, the game would have no redeeming factors at all

The story was fucking moronic, it barely resembles a resident evil game in any way except the names of the characters. There's really no inventory management nor do you have to worry about ammo conservation unless you're retarded. It just so happens to be a really good co-op 3rd person shooter though.

The only problems were that there wasn't enough Mercenaries content, and high difficulties in story mode didn't really let players flex good combat skills.

Inventory reloading and i-frame abusing led to some of the most fun gameplay in any 3rd person shooter.

I know this feel. It only got better as time went on; nothing is as fun as showing people all the emblem hiding places, or showing them how to skip the horde section before the first chainsaw enemy by using a grenade to blow up the door lock, or helping them actually purposefully pull off a full combo attack. I've even played countless hours both on xbox 360 and later on Steam just waiting for new players so I could take them as far into the game as they were willing to go in one sitting.

This game was actually fun as fuck co op
