A2 is only relevant starting with Ending C/D, the second half of the game while 2B is the front face of the game and the first one you play as.
You also don't learn much about her in-game as her actual backstory is only in a stage play and a novel.

While it makes sense that since A2 is a early prototype for models like 2B and as such their combat styles would be similar, it is disappointing that A2 feels so similar to 2B in combat. Her Berserk/Taunts/Dash Boost abilities are nice, but considering we only really play as A2 for such a short amount of time it also feels like there's not as much to her in terms of gameplay.

I feel that she should have a) had her Berserk state also change how her attacks operated, and b) had a more expanded un-armed moveset, possibly to showcase that unlike 2B her time on Earth with not as easy access to Bunker weapons made her more feral out of necessity

You actually have to play until Route C before you can play as A2.

She wasn't in the demo. That's when the game and 2B blew up and everyone started going crazy over her ass when they slid down that ladder. Then there's the fact that she shows up so much later in the game and she doesn't have the booty.

It's a bad port, bad performance and weird choices with control mapping. There's apparently mods to fix it but I doubt it's worth the trouble over just getting it on PS4.

You can brute force it if your PC is decent or just grab FAR anyway and it'll be fine.

if you have no console means of playing it, keep FAR/Special K close by in case you do try it out, or not have a toaster and all. it's a really badly optimized port done by people clearly not used to doing them.

depending on how it actually works out and how expensive it may be at launch, you might be better off waiting for the PS5 since it sounds like it'll render the PS4 moot with full backwards compatibility, but then you can probably find a base model PS4 for a steal if you want to get into the big games now

Contrary to the popular memes, it is perfectly playable all vanilla if you have a modern setup, but the easy-peasy to find and install FAR Mod helps performance and visual clarity a ton, while also giving you some extra options.

Ran steady 50-60fps average on my aging i5 2500 (non-K), 8GB DDR3 and GTX 1050ti 4gb, at 1080p, the Global Illumination set to Medium. I ultimately just locked it to 50 to eliminate the .1% jumps.

It ran fine on my 2500k and RX480. There is a small mod that's necessary called FAR, it's much like how Dark Souls needed a mod to fix some minor things. Very easy to install, basically no hassle.

Literally just get the roy12 2b mod and slap a2 hair mod on it. Takes like 2 sec.
