name 25 boring capeshit games

I mean, people managed to make a "immigration inspector simulator" game fun. Pretty much any concept could be made into a good game if only game devs stopped being such fuckwads.

What's Green Arrow's rogues gallery like?

bump bump bump!

pretty kino

How powerful would an atomic bomb of that size be?

As powerful as it needs to be

>x-men arcade
>X-men vs street fighter
>MvC series
>spiderman ps2 and ps4
and thats all I can think of tbqh

>As powerful as it needs to be
you'd be a great comic book writer user

War of the Gems
Spiderman and The XMen
Spiderman 1 and 2 for ps1

Wolverine Origins
Spawn for the xbox
The Punisher
Bamham Asylum

And I forgot Bamham for the nes

Better than your weeb shit.

American comics are so stupid.

you're stupid

they're fun, something few countries outside of America know about

more like
>games
>not boring

>that one rare super item that you will save before the last boss but the game ends before you know it

>Teams of superpeople always composed by the same token members: the super strong guy who flies, the robot guy, the masked guy who uses gadgets and martial arts, the barbarian, the guys who shoots energy, the fast guy and the asshole who floats, has no pupils and talks on riddles

>Same three plots:
>Evil(er) counterparts of the heroes who may or not come from another dimension invade and the heroes have to repel them
>Government conspiracy trying to get rid of the super people
>Godlike douchebag who tries to destroy / rewrite reality, lots of fourth wall breaking and JUST LOOK AT THIS REFERENCE shenanigans ensue

>Ridiculous hamfisted approach to diversity and tolerance (turn every hero into a woman or a minority)

>Writers change at the drop of a hat and the new writer always take a big dump on established characters (the good-natured super flying good is retconned into an abusive heroin addict who can't use his powers without being high first

American comic books are so stupid

Sincerely hope you’re talking about some obscure euro comics or something because if you’re trying to imply jap comics are any better youre a retarded weeb

Shounenshit does the same thing though

That doesn't make American comic books any less stupid.

I feel like the only exposure to American comics you have are Justice League cartoons and Marvel movies.

>I feel like the only exposure to American comics you have are American comics
No shit

I feel like you don't know that Marvel movies and Justice League cartoons are not at all 1 to 1 adaptations of comics

You know there's more than those ones he mentioned right?

CW Arrow show is good or bad?
I somehow managed to sit through all of Gotham till the end

I heard the first season was good but it quickly turns into a diet-batman soap opera.

From what I've heard,s1 is good, 2 is bad, 3 is kinda on the road back to good, and I don't know how the rest goes.

technically there's a lot of "fast guys"

seriously, though
wonder woman game might work

I would've to know 25 capeshit games to start.

spider-man 2 movie game on the PS2
now that was a good superhero game
*sip*

A lot of superhero games could work
A Green Arrow came could work
A Wonder Woman game could work
A Flash game could work
Daredevil, Moon Knight, Superman, Silver Surfer, they could all work but like says it's all up to what devs are behind it, what studios do we trust to make a good game from these IPs? All I can name is maybe Rocksteady and Insomniac.

what is your opinion on injustice games

made the story of an already declining comic series a complete joke. Still can't stand the way Flash was written in Injustice.

which part of it? how Barry just joining the regime being out of character?

I'm having some sort of unpleasant flashback to the late 90s, why does he look so familiar?

Green Arrow would make for a great game especially if they leaned closer to the tv show but gave him more trick arrows.

It's Quicksilver, from the X-Men comics

He's Quicksilver, this is most likely a late 80s-mid90s run of Xfactor(I think) written by PAD.
Give it ricochet mechanics so you can bounce arrows off walls and around corners.
You can play it stealthily or just get into brawls.
In Brawls you can switch back and forth from beat em up to arrow firing where you enter "arrow time" and everything slows down so you can pull off your trick shots mid acrobatics.

>japanese "comic books"
>big titty girl
>MECH
>shota boy
>MECH
>mysterious protagonist
>muscle guy
>MECH

>MECH
But Battle Shonens are far more prevalent.
Like the biggest manga out right now don't even have a heavy focus on mechs.

you forgot the literally no stakes part
nobody ever dies

People die constantly the issue is that it's gotten to the point that depending on how big the character is their return is expected eventually. It only tends to matter when they're a mcfuckingnobody.

tony stark (iron man) dies

uncle ben always dies

The problem is due to the companies looking to milk these things for all that they are worth, even if it's sour milk. Imagine if the legends of king Arthur were still going to this day, that's the sort of problem that comic books have. Companies just don't understand that there's nothing bad with letting a story end.

I mean I do like how any writer can get their own personal spin on the universe and characters, but it does make it sort of shit for newer heroes to get any limelight

It is for them, because there's no substance in Big2 capeshit anymore. The story can't end because they built their company on it never ending. They'd be lucky if their problem was "we can't just leave money on the table" it's "we've literally got nothing else and because we trapped ourselves in that gimmick"
Ending the stories would just be ending the companies at this point.

It's bad for a company to let a story end because it's their bread and butter. People are familiar with it once it's popular, and readers are invested in the story and characters. They have a large readerbase and most of them will keep buying new issues as long as the company doesn't really fuck it up. Sometimes they'll still buy issues even when the company is fucking it up.

This is way more reliable and easier than ending a story and trying to come up with new ideas and launching several new stories and hoping that they'll be as popular and well-known as their big golden goose. It's shitty for the comic's story, but you just don't kill the goose that lays the golden eggs.

Pic unrelated.

shit man, I still remember when Yea Forums blew the fuck up when Ollie used the boxing glove arrow on Arrow. that show was fun at one point, why did it have to turn into the Felicity Show starring Felicity and Felicity's amazing friends?
