… Why? … Why?…

… Why? … Why?…
After all this searching, I still cannot find it…

have you ever tried investing in pyromancy dude

pyromancy is easy mode and thats for plebs

But that's magic

It's funny to me that the biggest meme for Dark Souls is praise the Sun. I wonder how many people realize that the guy who said it was a miserable man searching for a pipe dream in the closest he can get to accomplishing it is burning alive

Can someone refresh me on what the fuck was going on?

So he was looking for something....which most likely was a sunlight maggot? Why was this again? Also why did he go hollow if you didn't kill the enemy that had it? Its not like like you ever give it back to him anyways.

yeah but you could easily make suns with it. lots of them. big and small.

>I'm shit at multitasking

He was looking for "The Sun."
Its not entirely clear what that means, but it was probably him saying he wanted to find some power of light that he could use to help the world, something he could use to make a change.
In the end, he doesn't find it.

You mean the sun? Its up there in the sky bro

Maybe hejust was fucking crazy

The Sun is the player

Yet you find it and never give it to him or mention it to him. And by somehow killing a bug in a pathway that was either blocked by magic or blocked by that demon, it somehow prevents him from going hollow?

Made very little sense.

Why did Fromsoft slowly stop giving a shit about NPCs? DeS and DaS have so many memorable ones. But BB, DaS3 and especially Sekiro are lacking in quantity and quality in comparison to DeS and DaS. I expected them to put in more effort into the NPCs in Sekiro considering the world wasnt a dying one but there are fewer in general and they have less overall things to say then ever.

no one really knows what the fuck he means by "his very own sun" and he never elaborates. he wasn't looking specifically for the sunlight maggot but he was so desperate to find a sun of his own the second he put on a hat with a lightbulb on it was enough for him to go literally insane with joy. but if he survives up until the end, he chooses to link the fire and that would be a more fitting end for him since he more or less becomes the sun that way. or at least the power source for it until he burns out.

Who else is about to make a new file?

Picture unrelated but sexy.

The chosen undead matters not their choice simply determined when the world died, not if.

Worshiping the sun has been an ancient pagan custom since the dawn of time. It's not really about the context of the story or the character, it's just a deeply ingrained affinity most people hold from the collective consciousness when they got attached to this meme.

cause the bug jumps on his head and either mind rapes him or he goes insane seeing a light above his head. regardless, if it is dead and you take it with you, it doesn't happen to him. also he doesn't go hollow, his skin is normal when you find him. he just loses his shit.

'the sun' was the friends you made along the way
too bad he never realized it

Well it's not a real sun, its just some glowing bug.
He just goes fuckin mental when he sees it. You save his life by not letting it fuck up his brain.
Still, he lives permanently depressed.

Ah. Gotcha.

On a different subject....how come Siegmeyer dies even if hes not badly poisoned?

Either you snipe all the enemies and he just fucks off, or you do absolutely everything you can and somehow hes still dead in the end.

Seems like the side plots are just designed to fuck with your head.
