I've had a Deathadder since 2011 or something, and it has been nothing but perfect until four months ago when it started double-clicking and releasing a held button. I absolutely would have bought another one but apparently the build quality has deteriorated a lit because people now say those issues only take months instead of more than half a decade to happen. Also, I'm ironically poorer than when I was 19.

Got the closest I could to the shape of the Deathadder with a Logitech G403 and I've gotten used to it, but my hands are still too big for it.

Keyboard-wise I feel the same way, my ass old Razer Tarantula still feels better than any new keyboard, even mechanical ones. I love it to death.

For me it's the 3dconnexion SpaceMouse Pro. The best gaming mouse.

Going logitech nowadays isn't the best idea as they now have worse build quality than razer do.

Gay shit with leds and poor quality microswitches. 2 died on me and I was tired of necromancy and constant resoldering of broken, double clicking M1/M2 buttons. Bought Zowie FK1 5 years ago and it's still working like new.

I used to really like the old models of Deathadders, but they feel cheap and break fast since they switched to the new plastic parts. I use a Zowie FK1 now and it's my new favorite.

The old ones were absolutely stellar quality products, but after mine started having issues after several years of daily use, I grabbed a new one and had scroll wheel and double click issues in a few month's time, they also just feel worse in the hand now.

After reading opposing views on mice fifteen times I just literally went by measuring my Deathadder and getting one close to that with a regular amount of buttons and features that looks inoffensive, without any gimmicky shit.

I have xbox hueg hands and I used a Deathadder 2013 until last week when I bought the Corsair Ironclaw. I have owned three Deathadders (bought one myself, got one through warranty, and one as a gift from a family member.) Literally all of them started double clicking within months. Worst and most overpriced mouse I have ever used. My Amazon Basics $10 piece of shit mouse lasted longer.

How I wish you would have bought one in the early '10s. Again, my DA from 2011 or 2012 lasted until 2019, daily use and not being cleaned a lot. I never got sweaty hands on it which happens with the G403, the lighting is ugly green but at least it's not rainbow RGB, the size is perfect for people who aren't handlets...

But I guess if they really have gotten that badly built, there's no point now.
