Torna Jin and XB2 are completely different persons. The fact that he joins Malos after all the shit he did goes completely against the ending and Lora's speech that humanity can be both good and bad.
Also, where the hell did that chunii TRUE form even come from? I thought he would use it in the final boss of Torna or something.

It's almost like he had 500 years to think it over.

You fucking missed the point, Jin completely lost it after Lora's death, of course his actions won't make sense, he is now an insane broken man.

>500 years between Torna and the main game
>"What the fuck, why doesn't this character act the same?"
Seriously?

And did you really miss the whole point of Lora's speech at the end being that it's ironic because she's talking about how everything will be okay 'as long as humans and blades are together' right before a situation where, if Jin hadn't become a flesh eater, both of her blades would've completely lost all memory of their time with her and become nothing more than tools for the people who killed her?
The point is that Jin's doubts about humanity have been building up throughout the DLC, he's somewhat reassured by what Lora says at the end, and then Amalthus's forces show up and ruin everything. Jin's conclusion isn't "all humans are bad, and are the source of all our problems", it's "some humans may be good, but the bad ones will always win and ruin what is good, and the Architect is the source of the problem because he's just letting this shit happen and created a system that's totally unfair for Blades".

500 years where he apparently never reached out to one of his past friends like Addam or Minoth, instead being buddy-buddy with the guy who destroyed Torna and killed Hugo and Milton, and Lora hated.

>never reached out to one of his past friends like Addam or Minoth
You mean a dead guy and a dude in hiding?

Holy shit, you anons, stop seeing this with logic, Jin just went crazy after Lora died, is that simple.

>Minoth
>his driver is a genocidal mastermind
>awakened Malos who in turn destroyed Torna and killed almost all of Minoth's friends
>in 500 years decided to get a real job and by the end even adopted a child and writes plays

>Jin
>his girlfriend dies
>didn't even bother searching for Haze
>becomes a bum
>joins with the guy who's at fault for everything that happened in his life

How can you search for Hzae when she went back to being a core?

>blames the blade when they're shaped by the driver
>but also points out that Malos and Minoth have the same driver
If you blame the blade like that, then Minoth is as responsible as Malos is, so why ask him?

Whatever point you're trying to make makes no sense.
Minoth even being Amalthus' blade never had evil intentions as far as we know and sure as hell didn't go on a killing massacre.
Malos is completely at fault be it Amalthu's blade or not.

Blades aren't uniformly influenced by their drivers. Minoth didn't get Amalthus's negativity towards the world imprinted on him like Malos did.

He always was a huge cunt, Lora was just a limiter. The only problem I have with the DLC story-wise is that, in the base game, it makes it unbelievable to me that Mythra didn't go full nuclear with Siren on him when he killed Haze.

>joins with the guy who's at fault for everything that happened in his life
Malos isn't actually all that responsible for Jin's problems. He had a part in it, of course, but Mythra was the one who destroyed Torna and Amalthus was the one who killed Lora, turned Mikhail into a Blade Eater, and took half of Haze's core crystal.

>Also, where the hell did that chunii TRUE form even come from?
being a flesh eater you dingus

the cutscene right before it states doing that would cause a nuclear bomb tier explosion with the judicium titan, hence why they had to get on it and disable it instead of nuking it in the first place

I thought minoth already existed before pairing with amalthus, he could just pair with anyone he wanted due to being a flesh eater

No, Minoth became a Flesh Eater, then left Amalthus.

Mythra saved Torna and literally none of that would have happened without Malos.

Malos murdered Milton and Jin and Mikhail both join him. They're pathetic traitors spitting on what Lora fought for.

when is this stated

When you first met him during XB2

>They're pathetic traitors spitting on what Lora fought for.
No shit, Jin even admits it.

>I thought he would use it in the final boss of Torna or something
Based OP always being brainlets, some things never change.
Also, Jin basically is Anakin Skywalker.

I don't think it's ever stated amalthus awakened minoth

They say that Minoth is Amalthus's Blade multiple times.

no, jin had better reason to go mad (slavery of his entire race)

yes in a sense that mythra is also rex's blade, but he didn't awaken her

Are you implying the human race in SW isn't enslaved by (((space joos)))?

>Mythra is Rex's Blade
This scene was so wholesome

in the japanese version of the scene where he talks to malos in chapter 3, he talks about them both having the same root/foundation. I don't think they'd use that wording if he was just some blade who had a different driver and then went to amalthus after becoming a flesh eater
