Mario Maker was always a somewhat niche thing, on Yea Forums at least. Plus, besides those screenshots we got that have already been analyzed to death, there's not much more than just speculation and waiting. When E3 comes around, it'll probably get a huge info dump with shit like multiplayer levels/editing.

There's a difference between a game's level editor and a game that's entirely based around being a hub for user-generated content.

Tell me when we get an actual game and not a creation tool. This year has been shit for the Switch. I might have to get Dragon's Dogma while I wait for Dragon Quest XI and Animal Crossing.

They want people to use online, not including online in they’re biggest online game this year would be stupid from a business perspective. I am still waiting on them to release actual fucking games to make buying switch worth it.

if the game itself is a paid product then paid online will not be required for its most core features. otherwise you would have a subset of people who bought the game but cannot play it.
