Rayman and Shantae both animate really smoothly in their native games and have a rhythm to their gameplay. Rayman has slides, wallhops and flips while Shantae has seamless move transitions with very little end lag to her moves. I can imagine both transitioning to Smash very easily. Even their idle animations have a lot of personality.

1: has to be vidya (Ash Ketchum couldn't be in, but pokemon trainer can)
2: No niggers (reskins are okay as long as it isn't the default since 90% of the player base doesn't even know you can change skins)
