Shadow is one of my favorite video game characters of all time, his backstory made me cry as a child because it was the most intense thing I saw as an 8 year old. Poor Maria, she really didn't deserve it.

It was a time when corporations were heavily pandering to children in the entertainment as well as toy industry. Some might call it turbo capitalism trying to suck parents' purses dry, but there was so much stuff made specifically JUST for kids.
I don't see this anymore anywhere in our current days. No saturday morning cartoons from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the afternoon. Kids these days watch degenerate whores like the Kardashians or Miley Cyrus twerking their cunts. What the fuck went wrong with this world?
Kids these days actually have it much, much worse in terms of variety and content. It's a sad fucking state of affair how the western world almost completely stopped cherishing and pandering to children's needs.
