Yeah, it's alright, especially the vanilla version, don't bother with SotfS.
Keep your expectations low, don't use projectile magic and you'll have a decent time

Better visuals (dx11 instead of dx9), new enemy placements, different enemies, million small fixes, less jank.
Just an overall better experience. Go nuts on vanilla if you don't have the money, but know that it is basically a different game.

poison is 100% worthless in pve unless you use poison arrows and kite.

Stone Twinblade is the best twinblade and it has good str scaling. It's even pretty good in PvP.

So it's not worthless then.
You don't need to kite enemies either, just plink arrows at them while you're out of melee/aggro range and then watch them die.
Poison pyromancies are also useful against some bosses like Smelter Demon.

I can go make a mod that changes item/monster locations in no time. I wouldn't call that a remaster. And the "graphical improvement" I suppose you can just read the comment section for general opinions on that.
