in my opinion i like dmc5 more, for its amazingly fun gameplay, which is what matters most in a game.

It's because if you noticed from the (essentially) artwork of the backgrounds. The way the city looks is like a Japanese city but with an American town coat of paint on it. Without the the internet as well as probable going to the city they based it off of it resulted in an imagination of how an American town looks.
Honestly I think it's pretty neat that this happened. But in the modern day with things like Google Earth and photo teams that go out to these places to give map makers concepts you'd never replicate it today.

capcom was able to made me buy and play this game despite having an incurable fear of any and all horror games. I was never able to play and finish these games before. I bought Code Veronica X back in the day but never played more than the first area where there are two or so zombies right at the start, i'm that pathetic. but claire is a cute and i needed to play her game, so... no i do not. i think for that time when it came out it were a alright display of some new stuff in 3rd person shooters but as a re game it's shit, it also has aged very poorly, doesn't hold it's ground anymore without some massive nostalgia faggotry.
