Purple Midnight is probably the most difficult of the Midnights overall. You need to be REALLY good at tracking and taking out the portals before the God Delusion massacres the facility. Also, keep in mind that it will focus down on any one of the portals that have had the most continuous damage dealt to them. Use that as your cue to get the fuck out of dodge.

Purple Midnight is by far the worst ordeal.

The best strategy is to try and take things slow one at a time and only use your strongest employees. Before starting purple midnight, hide all your slower employees in one elevator, and your faster employees in another. Work on killing each portal one by one and always keep an eye out on your weak employees to move them if they get in trouble. DO NOT try and attack the pale altar until you see the eye move somewhere else, otherwise it will completely fuck you. If you can't kill the altars super quickly, then be prepared to move your employees back because they will try to "Counter attack" you.

You manage a facility filled with strange "abnormalities". Send people to poke/prod them to extract energy from them to meet your daily quota. Poke/prod them the wrong way and they flip out and start killing everyone.
There's more to it, but that's the gist of it.

I don't know the monk (don't have him), but goodbye is actually dodgable and NOT an instant kill. The grab though...no tell, you can walk into it accidentaly, or your employee gets grabbed instantly if they're in the wrong position. everything else in the game is kinda dodgable/predictable, but not this one

So I have the quest thing from Gebura to suppress three WAW abnormalities. Which ones did you guys go with cause I really only have Snow White's Apple, Heroic Monk, Judgment Bird and King of Greed. I was thinking of restarting to actually finish a dusk ordeal for Malkuth on day 20 or whenever it becomes active so if there's a better abnormality for this I could use some tips. I also know from a friend that I gotta suppress 3 different Alephs for the last quest but I have only seen Nothing There, so I guess I could gather up some Alephs while i'm at it.

the missions are always the same. you just work a qlipoth meltdown bar 8 times. really shouldn't be a problem, it's only time consuming since you need to hit several meltdowns

Yes but some monsters the rule is "don't fight them" they will go back on their own. Firey Bird and Punishing Bird are two good examples of "don't fight if they breach"

How do you even dodge things in this game? The UI is so clunky and everybody is so slow and it takes forever to get anywhere or to get anything done.

you get stats depending on the work type you do
red = instinct = fortitude
white = insight = sanity
violet = attachment = work success chance
pale/blue = repression = justice attack speed/move speed

the higher the abnormality level (zayin/teth/he/waw/aleph), the more you get. you hit lvls I-V on certain thresholds. the stats themselves work on a numerical scale of 1-100 (which can be increased later on)
I think this should be all. justice is the hardest to level up since not many monsters like repression, and it's the most expensive to level up by spending points. save them up in case you need to buff that up, or try to find an abnormality that likes it

Keep an eye on the red bar that goes up every time you work with an Abnormality. Try to wait until it's 1 work away so you can prepare for what happens.
Don't repeat a Work twice (for example, two Attachments in a row) until you've unlocked all Managerial tips.
Keep at least 1 White Damage weapon in every department to beat the fuck out of panicked people. White damage guns are the best for runners.

Assign your employees to do specific work. Instinct levels up HP/Fortitude, Attatchment levels up SP/Sanity, etc. Also at the end of the day they'll get increases in stat points and possibly promoted. Use LOB points to force leveling up in aspects as well (but spread them out evenly)

For working, yes. For breaching, beat the shit out of them with the correct gear (kill Red damage weak monsters with Red damage weapons, etc). Each monster has specific weaknesses and strengths so plan accordingly. Prediction and elevator abuse is key. When you see her breach, move everyone out of her line of sight but inside elevators. When she shoots her Fuck You beam, rush in from behind, she will be stationary after she shoots it.

yes but be warned, repeated work on the same creature lowers the success rate until the meltdown counters trigger.

Also, buy research notes for creatures, it unlocks the observation level and those get passive buffs for the room (success rate up, work speed up, and I think something else)

How's the fan translation salvaging going? Last time I tried playing this game it was an incomprehensible mess.

Before the day starts, deploy only 3 employees per department. Don't do what I did and unlock 4 departments before tackling this because it gets difficult especially with Ordeals.
