The one that has a demo up to the third gym is Sage, still in development. That one's an honest attempt to make a good Pokemon game. This is the actually complete meme version, still worth a playthrough.

I remember reading about this a year or two ago and a few people had mentioned that there was a way to catch one of the legendaries before the E4 and doing so would apparently trigger the anticheat. Was that ever worked out?

I played through it casually with some grind sessions, caught the trio before the elite 4, and for some fucking reason I got the "you cheated" ending and couldn't finish the rest of the game. I was pretty pissed. Never even looked up codes for it.

I never played, but looking at the wiki seems the majority are old memes.

I'm not sure if you're supposed to be able to catch the motorcycle guy before the elite 4 though, I tried to get him in my route for a long time and I only got him by chance because when I left the lavender-esque tower he was in that route. Idk what happened. Oh well. Great game otherwise.
