If it's so forgettable then how did you remember that you forgot it?

Well it is a JRPG so..

I agree especially for Motoi Sakuraba who has such a distinct style of his own.
He gets forced to tone it down every time for Tales.
His Valkyrie Profile and Star Ocean soundtracks are some of the best in the business.

I disagree

Jude's 'clinching the fist' battle theme has been stuck in my head for the past 5 years. I'll sometimes subconsciously start humming it at work.

Fighting of the Spirit, Fury Sparks, Symphonias final dungeon, Sheena's battle theme, Abyss OP, Destiny's first battle theme, Phantasia's battle theme. I could go on.

Wrong.

I liked Legendia's music.

I disagree because I can hum the battle tunes of like 5 different Tales games at any given time and its not a series I'm particularly obsessed with like others.

Vesperia's in general, I have that memorized to a T

>that Berseria medley in Taiko PS4
>starts with Velvet's theme on piano
>ends with that victory theme
Fucking LOVE that shit.

It's decent music
It's just not catchy in the slightest; hence forgettable

Catchiness is pure opinion and the reason people linked those ones is they find them catchy though.

Wrong on so many levels.

Can't wait for them to eventually add tales characters into SOA. Gameplay is sorta similar in a sense and it would be cool.

Shit I want to play Berseria again
It's a shame the post game is so lacking that I have no real reason to. I already finished it on Hard, playing through Unknown just seems like a waste of time.

Let me stop you right there.

Betting on the Last Guide is the best battle theme in the series and you can't prove me wrong

That game had some great remixes

androgyny

It has the most forgettable everything of all time.

Eternia is so fucking good. Why can't people play the actual good games in this series?

It gets shit once you reach Celestia

Would not mind at all if Bamco went and used a new person other than Sakuraba next game. Doesn't have to be Go Shiina, either, though that'd be cool too.
Really I just hope they take their time with whatever the next mothership Tales title is and do it right, put in the effort. With Vesperia remake and the various mobile games coming out I hope the next main game is getting the proper consideration.

Go Shinna Tales and the symphonia soundtrack are the exception.

Still nothing close to the slogs that are Zestiria and Berseria.

I unironically enjoyed those games greatly.

I don't see how someone could, but happy for you that you found enjoyment.

Legendia is always going to be the best in my opening; Symphonia has some beautiful tracks too.

Tales of the Abyss
Tales of Xillia 2
Tales of Zesteria
all have really good soundtracks, the rest I don't really remember

*opinion

I honestly don't remember Xillia 2 being that good, but it's been a while since I've played it.

Xillia 2 had some high points.
Most of the game though was kill 5 fire golems, kill 5 ice golems etc
It was chill as fuck after a day of work coming home tired and just grinding a bit, but it really dragged out the game.

I don't understand how Sakuraba manages to make so many memorable stuff in the Golden Sun series but not a single piece in Tales of

I meant the OST, sorry. The game itself I didn't mind too much. I think overall I still prefer Xillia. I did not enjoy the tether system in 2.

this is such a unique track. always loved when it came on.

That said, say what you will about the game, but Tempest has a solid as hell opening.

He's literally reigned in on purpose.
Check out Star Ocean 3 for him being given free reign.

The OST is basically just taken from Xillia in a lot of cases. There are very few new tracks, mostly battle themes.

youtu.be/6BK90WpidjM
youtu.be/dVdt6ubDPNw

These are the only two new location tracks I can remember

Symphonia' s was pretty good.

yeah definitely not a fan of the new tracks. they feel so uninspired.

symphonia had a great OST. all the tracks might not be memorable, but they sure fit the mood when the game was playing.
