The grindan for items and players really sucks though, hype meters fill very slowly and franchize that i play is somewhere on the bottom of main menu of the game, making custom character mode a nuisance that's constantly in front of you.

I prefer NBA Playgrounds 2. Shame it's just as much of a micro-transaction scam.

EA is known for being lazy, well they were so lazy that they basically took the mess that existed on PS3 and put it on PS4, while 2K had developed a new engine for the new console. It didn't take long for people to dump/trash NBA Live. The series still hasn't recovered, and constantly has price drops after release.
