Any news or screenshots on how it will look? I actually really love how the first game looks. Definitely could use some polish and more customization tools though (the necks always bother me).

It’s Itsuno’s dream project and was meant to look as Western as possible, there’s no way he’d allow the sequel to have any kind of anime aesthetic. That said I don’t think ugly characters will be a problem if that’s what you’re worrying about, a big thing they tried to hype with the first game was that every single NPC was made with the in game character editor to show its versatility, if they do that again then we won’t be getting face scans. They’ll likely scan a whole bunch of different models and partition those scans into parts in the character creator, and with the volume of scanned assets they probably won’t bother trying to make anyone or anything intentionally less attractive.

All that said, I’m sure the RE Engine can run a good stylised anime game but Capcom wanna push photorealism to get the most out of this new engine seeing as Panta Rhei died with Deep Down and they’ll need to recoup losses on that.

Man I feel like there isnt enough types of good loot in this game. Im at the bluemoon tower where there is lots of good loot but none of it is for my class. As a sorcerer I think I already have my end game gear as seen here which is lame because I have to play the whole game without any changes.

That ring decreases casting time, so accept the quest, find the ring, make a forgery on the black market store and then turn in the fake ring for the reward, while keeping the real deal for faster spells

I don't think this is much of a spoiler: To really finish the game you would need to collect a lot of wakestones. When you have those, use them while going into BBI. You'll need them, but you should also have an appropriate level.

Fighter, warrior, strider, ranger, assassin. Really, there is no true answer. They are all fun in their own way and you have to find out for yourself which one you like the most. You should switch classes in this game anyway.
That said warrior has some of the most important passive skills for physical characters.

Fucking your pawn was never the problem, though. The situation was much more complicated than that. But actually there is nothing wrong with sticking dicks in pawns.

Want to talk about how big dick swords are super fucking weak by design because of the way armor and damage work, so in most cases you are either doing full damage per hit or 0 damage, both cases in which faster hitting weapons would be better.

anytime you need big damage, transfer some exploding arrows into your inventory and use sextuple shot or whatever its called

actual spoiler regarding one of the most powerful enemies in the game:

the second time i encountered death i absolutely cucked him with exploding arrows. he was stunlocked and unable to escape. killed him in one encounter

and the rest of the time you get to play a really fun and highly mobile class that shits outs damage even without items. strider/ranger a best desu

based on my experience the most stable and useful to an extent pawns are sorcerers, and this is mainly because they spend most of their time casting spells
the only wall here is getting their bestiary high enough so the time it takes for them to decide what to cast accordingly to what you are fighting is reduced
rangers are amazing too but their AI is forever fucked because of their vehement need to climb things, WHICH YOU CANNOT CIRCUMVENT trust me i fucking tried
strider and fighter both suffer from this but fighters to a lesser extent while striders are like a combination of rangers and fighters but actually shit bcause their yellow AI will always try to climb things

Daimon's choice was bullshit in spite of the fact that his beloved was his pawn, he'd be stuck in the same shitty situation regardless of who'd it would have been. The issue was who's soul made up the dragon, not who his beloved was
If anything his beloved being a pawn ended up being better for him, if she hadn't been one and just been a normal human instead he might very well have never been released from his curse.

I use pawn commands to get my caster pawn to apply buffs to the group.

Just brute force it back into place with elixirs occasionally, they'll naturally become retarded over time anyway

I feel like pawns sometimes cancel fulfilling a direct command because another behavior overrides it
I just try not to rely on pawns to much and just have fun laughing at their antics and occasionally being surprised when one pulls out a clutch

Forgery place can forge rare materials that you can use and the golden idols

Forged Golden idols don't complete the quests that require them properly, if you complete one with them the shop's inventory won't expand and the shop keeper will have dialogue about the idol being a fake.

If you’re playing the Switch version, can you check the rafters of Fournival’s house for a gold idol forgery? I’m not seeing it in my game.

When is the Switch version going to have workable servers and why is it the only version of the game to have this problem on day 1? Also doing hard mode from the start isn't worth the effort in a game where your gear matters and most the good shit is in post game or Bitterblack depending how far you can get before Garm and Elder Ogre decide they want to play.

I played hardmode when I first bought the ps3 version and I'm going it again with the ps4 port. It's not that bad, but I have hundreds of hours in DDDA so you can say I've gotten used to the bullshit. Also, being showered with tons of exp and gold is nice.

It's actually something I ignored doing since the option became available on PS3. When everyone was crying about getting one shot by goblins in the beginning, and the fact hard mode even after beating the game on Normal can still kicked your post game geared ass I decided to just not bother. I'm actually running two Hard Mode runs now, one on PC and also Switch, though I'm considering restarting the former because I thought being Mage from the start was the best way to approach a mode where everything murders you from sneezing.

Speaking of that quest, I forgot that cunt gives you a gold idol and blew it by blitzing her during the race.

Not yet, so that may be it. I've only just reached Gran Soren in this play file.

I'm trying out a mod right now that increases the XP needed to level. Hopefully it works out.

Same with them in both runs as well, with the added bonus of even taking out the Cyclops and bandit horde next to the hideout before doing Quina's Witchwood quest in the PC version.

At this point my only hurdles are chimera and the drake. I'm more or less gotten ogre down by doing the mine quest in the Switch version and dying 20 times to the first, exploiting the hell out of the small ledge where the second one is, and using the explosive barrels on the last which made it the quickest one to die so far outside the Everfall out killing itself. Hard mode does indeed make you consider using throwable items a lot more though because I never knew skulls and the curse effect could be so useful. Also I'm more prone to use rusty and other weapons with ailment effects attached to them.

Is there a list of what the Silver/Gold Idols unlock at Caxton and Madeleine’s shops? I’m undecided.

Hard mode from level 1 is great. Just make sure you save often. You get lots of gold and experience. The gap closes neat the end but you should be like level 70 for hard mode grigori and I had to quit the encounter when i was level 50 and grind some more.

Eventually the game gets easier and you'll wonder how fucking boring non-hardmode must be. Honestly. Stamina is barely an issue at higher levels and you can still tank most encounters. Normal mode would be braindead at that point.

It must have been advantageous for half the species to be capable of nurturing a foetus and giving birth, while the other half was stronger so that they could hunt, defend the women and children, etc.

I think people don't appreciate this enough. I'm not saying "women can't do X because of evolution". They can do what they want; who am I to tell them otherwise? But males and females are, generally, better at different things, due to our different qualities, given to us by evolution.

Only things that could kill him were the higher level dragonkin and daimon.

What is the best class for the first playthrough?
I was trying to play as a mage because of all those cool webms everyone keep posting with cool magic and stuff
but i feel the early game too slow, the only way to do damage is with the charged spells, that takes 5 secs to cast,

There's no reason it should be that much of a problem, just grab enchantments and use normal/charged attacks for low health enemies.
Obviously it will never be a fast paced class, however, so if you want to cheese it go Assassin or Magic Archer for a push a button to win experience.

dragon's maw is just a ridiculous skill that completely outclasses warriors in every way

why the fuck would you need to facetank mobs if you can just iframe through everything while you rip them a new asshole in the process?
not only that but a fully charged arc cant knock down a fresh poisoned undead while maw stunlocks them and flings them like ragdolls
and even after all that they still have a SHIELD, pawns dont always perfect block but im well aware that they can and are damn good at it

Finish the game and start NG+, then go to BBI. I can't remember if it's worth clearing the rooms if you already have the ability to end the game. I don't think it's worth it though.

Yes, don't finish the game. The levels and maybe some of the equipment might help, but the reason you want to clear these rooms is the wakestones.
