Anything non-weeb that's good?

Binary Domain.

Resident Evil remakes.

Are Danganronpas actually good "games"? There's too many games to choose from.

- Souls 3 and 2
- Nioh
well that’s all the games on my wishlist that I know are good.

buy UNIST.

Attached: 88h2e7uik7k21.png (393x418, 91K)

I know those fuckers are going to put EDF5 on PC the moment I buy it on PS4

If you like VN's, you might like em. They're goofy as hell though.

Is this the PSN one?
Because this sale sucks

Hey corporations, 30% off is not a sale
If your game is 40 dollars on sale, I won't buy it

store.steampowered.com/app/867490/Remyadry/

Attached: 1552469909797.png (1200x1200, 409K)

Steam one isn't much better. Only notable discount between the both of them is 428.

Tokyo Xanadu Ex+ is 12 bucks on PSN

I dunno about the PSN one but at least Steam is having one.

An actual good game.

I got Jojo Eyes over Heaven so I can meme on my friend with "ze spiiin"

I was hoping BBCTB would be on sale. Thats the closest I'm willing to get to UNIST

You can get most of the Ys games for 5 bucks each on steam. Also the Golden week sale has a ton of shitty porn games

Yes, and there's only 3 mainline games, Despair Girls is just an RE4 clone.

Thinking of getting Nioh and Katamari Damacy, though I barely even have time to play these days.

Attached: 1545654618682.png (1119x760, 823K)

What was that new touhou metroidvania game?

UNIST is the most honest fighting game out right now though

This one?
store.steampowered.com/app/851100/Touhou_Luna_Nights/

What the fuck is Touhou?

I'd say only the first one, it's start repeating itself in the sequels.

Is Sonic Mania actually good? Was thinking of finally picking it up for some nostalgia. Also, is the DLC worth it?

X/X-2 Remaster isn't on sale, nice Golden Week sale faggots.

yes

a videogame

It's a good Classic Sonic game yeah.
Unless you know you'll love it, don't get Encore until you actually sit down with the game.

Is Lacrimosa of Dana still buggy?

store.steampowered.com/app/383960/Machina_of_the_Planet_Tree_Planet_Ruler/

The battle system is really fun, the music is great, and it’s only around 10 hours long. This game is SORELY underrated

Attached: F6B5416A-D633-4BAD-9E60-A01F29453713.png (714x574, 283K)

It's a gamble.

s-sell me on it. My only experience with it is playing the big nigga in BBCTB

Attached: 1554860283898.jpg (300x300, 12K)

Anything on psn?

do you think unist will get cheaper in the summer sale or is 20% off as cheap as it gets

good vn's?

Dragonball Fighterz

>Rabi-Ribi not on sale

Attached: 1512905440441.jpg (550x512, 97K)

I've really got to get better with my money.

Attached: goldenweeb.png (398x439, 150K)

they are from taiwan not japan

you need to get better taste

This

rude

Attached: 1516515482984.png (397x500, 202K)

1) It's the most entered anime game at EVO.
2) Community has a lot of gas as the tournament season heats up, everyone who has been playing all this time is super stoked to finally play on a "bigger stage" in the mind of the public. You'll literally be part of history.
3) Game is small and lean as fuck. Think it only eats up about 4GB total (at least on PC), dream like performance and overall snappy.
4) French Bread started as just a bunch of hobbyists getting together to work on a Tsukihime fighting game. Their company was still under 20 people until they started recruiting after all the new exposure this year. What this effectively means is that their games are labors of love and are infused with SOUL.
5) French Bread has honest DLC practices. Pure, non-intrusive cosmetic items. Get as little or as many as you want to either support your favorite character/VA or just show your support for the game.
6) Yea Forums threads 5 times a week.
7) Did I mention this is probably the friendliest fighting game community I've ever been a part of? At the end of the day no one takes the game super seriously and everyone is just happy they have people to enjoy it with.
8) Well balanced and fundamental focused. I don't think anyone doubts that the better player wins every match. There is no real revenge mechanic and you have to decide when to focus on GRD and when to focus on other matchup elements (positioning, etc.).
9) Solid soundtrack outside of the menu music which was a downgrade from the previous version. Guaranteed to find at least a few tracks you love.
10) The game is cheap as fuck. $20 for the whole thing minus the cosmetic DLC I talked about. Meanwhile Bamco only ever puts base T7 on for that much.
11) Also the tutorial is great to run through to learn just basic fighting game techniques in addition to getting yourself familiar with what the cast can do. Agreed by many to be one of the best tutorials in FGs.

Attached: 6d44s5aqv2t21.jpg (900x900, 142K)

looks interesting and cheap, just nabbed it

Danganronpa, Steins Gate, Funbag Fantasy.

Anything that's similar to SMTIV on PC? I know its a typical JRPG, but the way its presented and how you can manage turns really has me goin'!

Can someone give me a rundown on Stranger of Sword City vs Stranger of Sword City Revisited?

I realized that a lot of Drpgs on vita are so cheap I can buy physical for only slightly more than the GW sale.

I found out that some vita games are being delisted on psn so it has motivated me to buy the 10 odd games I've been wanting for years.

I bought shinovi versus, estival versus, megatagmension and neptunia u

feels amazing playing them at 60FPS

SEA PSN Golden Week sale is much better than the US one
>b-but I live in the US
You can create an account in any country you want, you dumb dumbs. G2A, Seagm and other sites are selling hong kong/indonesian cards.

Hello, any good musou gamesin the sale that isn't Senran Kagura, Pirate Warriors or Fate Extella

can I play UNIST with a keyboard?

also in case you like isometric touhou
store.steampowered.com/app/845880/Touhou_Scarlet_Curiosity/

buy a controller

Attached: 1490205023516.jpg (284x387, 14K)

yeah
I played melty like
wasd yuig
no problem
if there's any execution difficulties that's just because it's hard for anyone. the combos are stupidly difficult or anything, it's really just a matter of practice. funny enough this helps tourney play since it's rather difficult to go from one character to another on the spot.

i think you have good taste (mostly thanks to zero escape)

>don't have any money for this sale because I already blew all my paycheck on a new phone
ah fuck me

Got Last Remnant and it's been a blast, I miss the old days of cheesy yet still competent JRPGs from the PS2/3 days. Hopefully Blue Dragon and Lost Oddesy get a chance to get remastered to the PS4 like Last Remnant and Vesperia did

Attached: maxresdefault (18).jpg (1280x720, 200K)

Yeah but Tokyo Xanadu is fucking trash man

Anyone mind recommending some good multiplayer non-fighting games on sale?
I got Dark Souls 3 Deluxe in my cart already.

Which are the best shitty porn games? Prefer gameplay mixed in rather then CG hunting.

>I miss the old days of cheesy yet still competent JRPGs from the PS2/3 days
>Shadow Hearts series will never come to Steam

Attached: 1553017977603.png (516x440, 157K)

Last remenant wasn't a jrpg though, at least in the traditional sense. Jank as hell gameplay and the only "jrpg" available on steam for half a decade.

Hell I'd kill for a re-release of Radiata Stories, Suioden 5 and many more

Attached: 1536518969134.jpg (308x294, 29K)

stop kidding yourself and just play western dungeon crawlers

I plan on buying Muramasa if nothing interests me tomorrow.

>Jank as hell gameplay
If you treat it like a traditional JRPG it's honestly more an SRPG pretending to be a regular JRPG with a bit of Suikoden party collecting and the slightly obtuse stat building of SAGA games

Ya, that's a good description.

Ace Combat 7 worth $57 dollarydoos? Never played a game in the series, but Yea Forums was shilling it a bunch a few months ago.

its trash anyways

Post your Steam ID and i will give you 1 random game from wishlist

Attached: 1548319550226.jpg (828x756, 426K)

smellydingus

OK, why not if you want to user

id/maxedoutpower

DR1 is passable
DR2 is trash
I did not play DRV3

that's the digital deluxe version?
honestly if you haven't picked it up by now, I'd wait for it to come out with all the DLC missions and VR content for PC

It's really fucking fun

Attached: luftrausers 3D.webm (852x480, 2.93M)

>none of the games on my wishlist are on sale
T-thanks, you too

Attached: 1495945902320.png (1760x1222, 582K)

428 Shubya Scramble is on sale for the psn store
Is it any good?

same except for oxygen is not included

It's also a really bad game. If Falcom/XSEED wanted to discount something, it should have been Trails of Cold Steel.

Attached: Tokyo-Xanadu-eX-Plus-Swimsuits.jpg (600x338, 140K)

Might as well have nothing on my wishlist either.

Attached: 2019-04-29 23_37_41-Steam.png (949x182, 80K)

It's for the standard version. That's in Ausbux though. Comes to about $40 USD.

That looks fucking stupid. I'm even more tempted

Should I get Mushihimesama if I'm realistically only going to play it 5 years down the line?

>Trails of Cold Steel
Those games aren't much better, at least say Ys 8

>Left Alive
buy it faggot

>Hopefully Blue Dragon and Lost Oddesy get a chance to get remastered to the PS4
lol microsoft actually 100% owns these IPs there is 0 chance. maybe for the switch, but those are never ever for ps4.

it has the most annoying death sound ever but it's a good game

yeah so ur future self will thank you for it

Man i wanted to buy Yakuza 0

Stop trying to console war man there is hope for PC

No way fag, you first.

>open sale page
>already own half the games
WTF bros am I actually a weeb?

Put the games down Anons it ain't worth it

I doubt this is legit, but thisprofileisaspy

Games are too expensive. I was expecting to buy Star Ocean 4 (PS4) for less than 10 usd.

If you have a controller and are remotely interested in planes it's a safe purchase. The main issues with the PC version are that it doesn't have native universal hotas and ultrawide support, other than that it's very well optimized

Attached: 9-11 2, Revenge of the Towers.webm (1024x576, 2.92M)

This user looks like he wants to buy Left Alive.

id/yungkazakhstan

random wishlist anons are usually cool

Attached: Screenshot_2019-01-22-11-47-38_1.jpg (720x709, 158K)

>less than 10 usd
Good luck Square thinks the shitshows that are Star Ocean 3-5 are worth $30 or more for some goddamn reason, probably to hide their shame

Attached: 1503715189845.png (305x339, 145K)

not console warring, i'm just saying that it'll never happen as they are microsoft IPs. it's like asking for demon's souls on xbox. now, for PC, yeah, it can and probably will happen.

Do it. Genroku Legends is worth it.

seconding.
hoping for an user to swing in
id/sheepishtrash

I'm just fucking with you mate, but seriously I'd love at least Loss Oddesy on PC, all the Anons praising it has gotten me curios since it sounds like a Nier tier low key masterpiece

would there really be 4 cold steel games if they were bad

Should I get Blue Reflections? I heard that one mode or something was censored/removed here on the west. Also why the PC has the season pass on discount but not on PS4?

store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP4108-CUSA09085_00-BLUEREFLECTION00
store.steampowered.com/app/658260/BLUE_REFLECTION__BLUE_REFLECTION/

>Three FF 13s and countless crossovers and cameos
>A myriad of FF 15 side content and crossovers and cameos
>Countless Neptunia games
>Countless Assassins Creed games
You tell me user, though theres nothing wrong with liking "shitty" games they're often at least entertaining

It is on sale, for vita.

Which FF game aside from IV or VII should I get?

SRPG maker is half-off, if you guys ever wanted to make Fire Emblem-like games I'd recommend it. Doesn't have a lot of documentation though.

i grabbed most of the Ys games, even though I already played them. Also, I grabbed Tales of Berseria, which was oddly 75% off despite Zestria being only 40% off.

both are pretty meh games, but I'm slowly building my Tales Of library through sales since Scamco is such a shitty company.

6, and I hear 8 and 9 are solid.
My fav is 4.

IX if you haven't played it, look past the slightly goofy story and it's one of the best FF games imo.

They're really good if you're into visual novels. They're like Ace Attorney but with more death and anime

unfortunately the pirate version works better than Steam version, i had to refund it. for that price, they should kill themselves or fix the game.

it seems most people don't have problems with steam version, but just be prepared to get a refund, so don't just buy it and leave it in your inventory, play it immediately and put an hour into it, if no crashes, you're good.

Reminder to get both Digimon World Next Order ($15), and Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Hackers Memory ($41)
the first Cyber Sleuth game was delisted after only 3 years on the store
we don't know if DWNO is next

Attached: tri.jpg (1920x1080, 629K)

how is your opinion so shit?

Attached: 1554664805532.jpg (540x564, 67K)

debating on tekken 7. someone who owns it can tell me if its a worth the sale price? the standard edition

Attached: image.jpg (1920x1080, 210K)

>They’ll surely put RE7, FF X / X-2 collection, Megaman X Collections now!
>every other titles in these franchises get discounted, minus the ones I wanted

JUST

I dreamed, Yea Forums

Attached: 80AEDB92-1025-4B92-BB6C-7072A5DA6BB7.png (401x360, 316K)

its has no worthwhile single player content if thats what youre looking for
its arguably the best not-dead fighting game on pc though

on PS4? nah
on PC? yes

It's more of a multiplayer fighter. no sp content at all. Less wifi players on PC.

Is this game any good?
store.steampowered.com/app/409890/Stranger_of_Sword_City/
If it isn't, anyone has any other dungeon crawler recommendations?

Why is Ys VIII still so expensive? I was thinking about getting DBZ FighterZ, but I bet the online is empty now and the dlc prices are jsut a scam

No. It is Phoenix Wright if you took any trace of interesting characters and decent writing and replaced it with edgy DeviantArt-tier character designs and waifufag bullshit.

to be fair Capcom and SquareEnix get a publisher sale on psn almost every other month
those games you listed go on sale often

seems cool

youtube.com/watch?v=JGSvenu4oAE

I stopped buying anything on PS4 ever since they went full censorship mode. It's literally just a bluray player for me now.

yes im talking about PC and im only looking to pvp not grind sp content other than training mode

I should have bought them when I had the chance in the december sale

store.steampowered.com/app/1007280/The_Den_of_Chaos/

go for it then
prepare to get your shit pushed in though, tekken is one of the hardest fighting games for new players imo

none of those are bad though

ok im going to buy it thanks. i have a friend who plays it fairly often so i can learn somethings from him. thank you too. meant to quote you a few posts up also

is 428: Shibuya Scramble good? I'm not a weebman myself but I unironically love FMV from classics from the 80s/90s to modern Wales's games.

The Tiananmen Square Massacre of 1989

>anime pedo game x
Haven't heard of anime pedo game x. Does it run well on pc?

buy it and go in blind

not really

My cart at the moment. If I were to only buy one shmup, should it be Dodonpachi Resurrection or Mushihimesama? Or should I just say fuck it and get both?

Attached: Screenshot (86).png (612x306, 79K)

mushi

It's good, it's the third best weeb one on Steam imho (Elminage Gothic and Original are better). I assume you already have Grimoire and the Wizardry games.

Maybe Epic should get themselves some anime pedo games and this wouldn't be a problem

is Stranger of Sword City Revisited a straight upgrade? I assume it should be.

Is the caligula effect any good?

Yeah it is the definitive version, Vita only though.

Literally any modern controller

Bought Dragonquest XI and SAO: Fatal Bullet [Complete]

I also found out natural selection 2 is alive? I thought that game shut down years ago.

Attached: 1516604816092.jpg (431x291, 22K)

Yes if you don't mind potato graphic

Not really.

Potatoes aren't too bad, is it a choice heavy story or choice heavy jrpg with it just being a linear story

Confusion setsin

Why not? I was thinking of getting it too

the only people still playing it have either been playing sc since before you were born or just dont know how to download custom maid 3d

Pick one please for PC:
a) Dark Souls 3 Deluxe Edition
b) Nioh Complete Edition
Or do I just go straight for Sekiro? I'm currently playing Dark Souls 1 on Switch (first time) and liking it so far.

25th ward good? i liked the first silver case

Attached: 1540762279760.jpg (232x287, 18K)

Sekiro isn't on sale. Play DS first.

Sekiro is my favorite of the three, but if money:time value is an issue then Nioh might last you longer.
Dark Souls 3 is just "hey remember Dark Souls?" so playing it right after/during 1 will probably dull your enjoyment.

Should I get this on pc or Switch? The graphics don't look like they would take too much of a hit on switch but does pc have more options?

The only thing you would end up missing on console would be the FOV slider.

Attached: 1556511427518.jpg (500x453, 30K)

Thanks, I think I'll get Nioh first then.

>FOV slider
PC it is.

Hope you enjoy it user!

I have no idea what Hatred has to do with Golden Week but at 2.99 I guess I'm finally ready to try it out.

should i buy ggxrd rev 2 upgrade
does anyone even still play gg in europe

I haven't bought any modern games on PC lately. It looks like my specs are right at (except the processor is a bit under) the recommended system requirements for Fate/Extella. Would it be okay? I don't want to get this and half the shit is fucked because it's right at my system's limits.

Late or Latest? What's the difference, more characters?

Latest has more characters, a full-tutorial and a fully fleshed out storymode, it's also the latest version (hah.) so anyone playing online would be there.

Yes, they definitely are. The first game is only 8$, might as well try it out. The bundle is cheap too so if you enjoy the conspect you might save some money.

Redpill me on Ni No Kuni. The screenshots look lame as fuck. Would rather wait for a better sale for Dragon Quest. But then I watched a trailer for it and holy shit it looks gorgeous and the music is great. Is it good?

Are any of the Senran Kagura games worth getting?

I got it 50% off a little while back

should I buy 428 Shibuya scramble? Shit is still $20.

I'm temped too.

Is this the first time Nier has gone on sale?

*first time nier dlc has gone on sale

Yeah but the stupid photograph visuals thing makes it feel like the price is still too high. I dunno it seems dumb, but it just feels like a cheap game/ Plus it probably will be $5 by the time I get around to it.

>BERSERK EGG OF THE KING STILL $40

Fuck Toei, they deserve to have all their fucking games pirated

Attached: BERSERK 200.jpg (514x768, 110K)

>buying pc games
wow

Hiring actors, getting props, buying high definition equipment and going around Shibuya sounds like it'd be very expensive. Plus it's supposedly a long game.
If it didn't rely so much on stills and was entirely FMV like Contradiction or Super Seducer it'd be worth the full price let alone the discounted one though.

crosstag battle is on sale though. in fact, for some reason it's the only blazblue game on sale.

Attached: 20190426131138_1.jpg (1904x1042, 642K)

Anyone already got a gqme from based ?

Attached: 1496875470725.jpg (362x447, 54K)

There's a billion games on sale and I have no money but I also own a fair amount of the games on sale.

Ask me anything.

How's the steam version of Lost Planet 2? I remember renting it from Blockbuster back when it came out thinking it was pretty rad. Anything particularly fucky about this version for it to be Mixed or is it just not as good as I remember?

haha based steam thanks
id/theicecube

By broiling them instead of regular baking so the exterior is crunchy and the interior gooey.

try the brown butter variant

Add cinnamon to the batter.

PC for sure, the Workshop stuff is ridiculous.

It still uses GFWL
Not sure if there's a way around it for LP2

Is DQ11 good? If so, should I get on PC or PS4

Here are my choices but my budget is only 200 of my currency, Have to delete 100 from the list i guess.

Attached: golden week.png (625x467, 118K)

No

Thanks /ck/

Same. Imagine my disappointment when I noticed that only weebshit is discounted.

Pls explain. Never played a DQ game before.

tell me about Binary Domain
how's the PC version? is it a proper conversion for KB+M or just a shoddy port?
how important is the mic gimmick to general gameplay?

Attached: binary-domain-0013.jpg (1440x810, 121K)

Yes. Right now PC because you can mod in the orchestral OST, which may or may not eventually come to PS4 with an update.

steamcommunity.com/id/reviola/
All right.

Attached: Buddy.jpg (253x253, 9K)

I played it without a mic AND on an azerty keyboard, so you'll be fine. The game is great too.

>implying yakuza isn't for weebs

Attached: weebpe.jpg (300x250, 10K)

Mic gimmick isn't important, you can do everything you can do with a mic without it by choosing pre-set positive/negative responses.

This any good?

I'm in the mood to play an oldschool jrpg.

Attached: Alphadia Genesis.jpg (1280x720, 224K)

Should I pull the trigger?

Attached: steamgames.jpg (622x321, 21K)

Definately get it on PC, because mods.

My backlog is big enough that I can't justify buying new game on this sale.
I'll get Vesperia on Summer Sale

Attached: 20190427002450_1.jpg (1920x1080, 309K)

thanks, will try it then

Don't... Dont support Square Enix with this shit. Switch version is getting the complete version with japanese voice and more content. PS4 and PC owners are fucked over.

Utter garbage

I'd just get it on the PS4 since the steam reviews say that it has annoying bugs

Japanese equivalent of /mlp/ autism.

428 Shibuya scramble is 70% off

As someone who played the entire thing, it's very average with really poor 3D graphics.

store.steampowered.com/app/789760/DEAD_OR_SCHOOL/?curator_clanid=4777282&utm_source=SteamDB
Anyone tried Dead or School? What do you think of it? It seems to be well-received by the Japs.

While on the subject of weeb games, can anyone give me the run down on Utawarerumono?
My weeb bro recommended me on it and I enjoyed the anime, but I can't find any reliable source for it besides a crack (without the game) on nyaa

Surprising well made side scroller beat em up. Nice amount of fanservice too. Try to pirate it first

2 is bad. i bought the king edition and the wizard edition of 1. you are required to idle to make progress, and the enemies are just health sponges. theyve added a higher difficulty, but i havent tried it out.

I really like them, they are basically VNs with light SRPG segments.
Be advised that the first ps4 game is a giant prologue to the 2nd game so there aren't many happenings and its mostly slice of life, still worth it.

All three games are on AB.

Attached: 1525456634773.png (780x954, 108K)

Lmao fucking sauce I wanna read this

They’re like 75% VN with some SRPG mixed in. Mask of deception is also a lot of SoL and buildup to Mask of Truth where shit gets real.

It’s more of a question if you like single-route VNs if anything, but’s it’s good for what it is. You might also want to watch the OG anime which covers the events of the first game well enough to get you up to speed.

Quick Yea Forums! Estival Versus or Burst Re?

If you really have to then Estival Versus
Burst Re is Estival Versus but with half the content sold to you as dlc

>muh sekrit club

Gotcha, planning to get the Ikkitousen girls as well anyway.

Is the dlc just cosmetic shit? Then why is it 7 dollars?

Wait really? I thought its a much improved game compared to to ES, The hack and slash combat feels MUCH better than before and graphics are also better with those improved models. Well as for content, it makes sense all the girls are not in it since its a remake to the previous game

Yes, but please play Flower, Sun and Rain in the middle of the two, or at least look up the plot.

It's still nowhere near as snappy as the original shinovi versus or even the game it was remade from, and the stages are absolutely tiny.
Daidouji still doesn't have abs ingame

It's one of the easiest trackers to get into. In fact I'd invite you if you just asked, but you complained about nothing like a little bitch.

I'm absolute dogshit at fighting games, convince me not to buy Xrd

Stutters a lot for me but at least there's no fps drops like the demo had.

Only if you like VNs, I coukdnt get into it but the people I know who like VNs consider it one of the better series around.

1 and 2 on 3ds. Absolutely every other game is shit in my opinion.

Whoever still plays Xrd on PC is a veteran by now. You won't be able to learn anything unless you find somebody on your level or at least slightly above it.

Getting curbstomped 2-3 times and then praying the guy doesn't leave for a week before you meet him again in the online lobby is gonna frustate you faster than anything.

You're not wrong.

Pick sol and learn some basic easy to do stuff that is hard to punish and then gorilla on your anime friends so they quit after a week and go back to erping in vrchat

i like how the opinion of these games are completely divided. I'd say the ones who are saying "only if you like VNs" is accurate enough.

I didn't realise there were this many 2hu fan games on Steam.

Attached: e952a6acac319476de6838798a974618758280e8.jpg (1920x1051, 668K)

I already did. Bought UNIST and BBCF. Its the first time I'm playing anume fighting games. I beat the arcade without losing a round, got confident and the some fucking nigger raped my ass online without me winning a single round. How the fuck do I get good.

Speaking of 2hu fangames, how good is Genso Wanderer?
And is the deluge of DLC even worth it?

If you happen to have an UW monitor, it's worth noting that the demo stretched instead of pillarboxing. I'm not sure if it was ever fixed, officially or otherwise.

I was tempted to get some of the following titles:
> Valkyria Chronicles 4
> Dragon Quest XI
> FFXV
But after watching gameplay footage I've lost interest.
VC4 is what I was mostly interested in but I have already played the first game and it doesn't bring anything new and exciting to the table.

I'd rather save that money and wait to see how steel division 2 and hell let loose turn out after they are released.
I've been burnt by sales far too many times, most titles just end up sitting in my library anyway.
If I am not excited to play something the instant after viewing post-release gameplay footage then chances are it is not worth paying for.
I'm better off shelling full price on one game I know full well I will enjoy here and now rather than take a gamble with two games for the price of one just because they are on sale.

>How the fuck do I get good.
gradually

Ace combat 7 is the only game worth picking up.

Any historical low prices on these games apart from the zero escape/999 bundle?

I'm getting tales of eternia vibes.

MHW has been cheaper on other sites, but all three are great games.

probably because all the other ones were on sale last week. Picked up centralfiction for $10.

You are not going to get better at any games, not just fighting games with that attitude.

dragonball fighter z is fucking bullshit. 2 season passes? 5 dollars a fucking character? 3.50 is still too much for one character. man people got fucking cucked with that game

Does anyone have that "so you want to get into ace combat" image?

If you decide to invest in a fighting game, you never get cucked because you always get the most out of your spent money.

No, dragon ball faggots are cucks.

t. green square

The game has some areas where there is lag. It's not a "my pc is shit" lag but "our coding skills are incompetent" lag. The switch port isn't out yet so I wouldn't get my hoper up on the quality.

Avoid Nioh like the plague.

Even though Dark Souls 2 is shit, you should play it before DS3

Attached: 1550530992121.jpg (900x1000, 587K)

Should i get the season pass too? Kinda interested in the dlc

Nioh is a good game, shut the fuck up bitch.

Because unlike you I've experienced well-written stories before in my life

DR1's cast is shallow but the pacing and the mystery of the school keep you engaged well enough.
The ending is dumb but getting there was relatively fun.

DR2's cast are even more shallow, but on top of that they're also incredibly annoying and repetitive. As if every single one of their lines is just a variation of their single character trait.
The plot plods along for 80% of the game, which makes these characters even more insufferable than they already are.
You spend most of the game doing shit that doesn't matter, before finally they decide to reveal the data simulation twist you figured out in the FIRST CUTSCENE because it was so blatant, and by that point the game's nearly over. I spent the whole game thinking that this twist was going to be the jumping-off point of the narrative, and that from there things would get more complicated, more hectic, and more deeply-connected to the events of the first game.
But no, actually, it was just a big waste of time.
Junkoland is the most laughable bullshit on the planet. It doesn't even make sense.
Makoto and friends showing up at the very end was blatant and undeserved fan service.
Nagito is an insufferable plot device whose red herring is neither brought up nor effectively used.
Hajime being the super-badguy all along is bullshit, comes out of nowhere, and reeks of "wait please don't think he's boring"
And somehow, quite literally through the power of H O P E, all the characters who were said to be completely, 100%, irrevocably dead managed to survive and also stay good people. This is inexcusable.

Absolute garbage and anyone who defends DR2 wouldn't know a good story if it slapped them across the face.

so is FighterZ and the two season passes worth it for a plus member?

oh man have you seen the sequel anime

Nope.
I was reading DR0 before eventually watching the anime but that shit was boring and I just don't care enough to see this thing through

But I've heard even DR fans hate it

>I disliked the plot relevance and twists that were more complicated, hectic, and relevant to the prequel
>It was a waste of time
Just say you didn't like it, you fucking baby.

I love the shit of Tales of Symphonia
I hated Symphonia / Zestria
Is there any reason I should get Berseria / Vesperia?

Attached: Capture.jpg (951x518, 98K)

just pirate it and buy it later if you liked it, this is common sense

>I love Symphonia
>I hated Symphonia
Getting some mixed signals here.

ToV is pretty much the culmination of Team Symphonia's battle system. Solid characters and a story that's at least good enough to string you along.

I really enjoyed Berseria, but I certainly wouldn't call it flawless. Still, twelve bucks isn't all that expensive (and you should just pirate the DLC like a smart person). Give the demo a go to see if the battle system feels good to you.

kekerino, I meant I loved Phantasia

store.steampowered.com/app/674420/Piece_of_Memory/

This game looks interesting.

Luna Nights is really good but pretty short (sub 10 hours)

>relevant to the prequel
It barely has anything to do with DR1

Up until the VERY end when Makoto and friends show up, and Junko still being the bad guy, the best you get is
>Byakuya is here and also fat?!?!
And nothing became of it.
>Nagito looks like Makoto, and is voiced by the same guy, and is also the Ultimate Lucky Student?!?!
And nothing became of it.
>The events of this killing game are similar to the previous one?!?!
And nothing became of it.

This is a game where nothing of consequence happens.
All of the dead characters get better.
The villain wasn't even a real person.
All of the events take place inside a simulation.
It's just a bloated, convoluted excuse to introduce another batch of characters into the DR universe so that they have something to work with for the sequel

What's good on the PS4? I'm looking at Ni No Kuni II, Monster Hunter World, Digimon World and Cyber Sleuths 2, Ys, and other shit.

I think you have selective dyslexia, because literally none of that is true.

Attached: 1545502623445.jpg (1920x1080, 267K)

Which Phantasia, PSX or SNES?
I mean, I'm an unapologetic Talesfag and as much as I love the original ToP I'm very unlikely to ever recommend the original to anyone.

I guess your enjoyment of Vesperia depends on what exactly you hate about Symphonia.
Zestiria is ass and I haven't found a person with good taste who actually enjoyed it, so you hating it is probably a good sign.

I think ToV is overall a really solid classic JRPG. Overworld with dungeons (with relatively boring "puzzles"), a pretty damn good battle system once it gets going and nice characters and interactions.
Berseria is more in line with Tales games post Xillia with no overworld, instead relying on larger zones to connect towns and dungeons. Battle system was fun, but can be a bit overwhelming at start, because they axed normal attacks completely and instead gave everyone 4 customizable arte strings that you can freely switch between (it's basically Graces's A-artes system, but I dunno if you played Graces).

Try the available demos first, I think. Or pirate first, like another user said.

Attached: Judith's hair.png (408x1280, 754K)

The Nights of Azure games are pretty cheap now, but are they both worth getting? People seem kinda pissy over the second one.

Which SK games FOR PC THAT ARE IN THIS CURRENT STEAM SALE are worth it?

what are some games on sale that haven't been touched by sonys censorship?

Attached: 1516966522160.gif (514x510, 94K)

I have 14$ bucks left. What should i get?

Attached: 1528858743772.png (452x468, 345K)

Shadow Hearts ain't coming back since the IP is now owned by a company that is only making pachinko games.

Dunno who owns the US rights now since Midway sank

SNES, why, are they any different?

What I didn't like in Symphonia and Zestria was how turbo weeb it was, with stupid inhuman HEEEE?! reactions.

Vesperia is good overall, but it's very rough if you're looking to plat/100% the game. very rough.

Berseria is a lot more linear than earlier Tales games, which some people like since it really focuses on the story, and there is substantial story in it unlike Zestria. Berseria does open up around half way into the game but the side content is pretty weak imo. Characters are interesting and up against Zestria it's much stronger overall. Not the greatest game but worth 12 bucks.

How come there's only weeb shit and nothing good

Gal*Gun 2 and anything released before it.

a mcchiken

ToP PSX is basically Tales of Phantasia remade in the Eternia engine.
Does away with the whole Long Range/Short Range attacks thing, fixes the hideous encounter rate, gives Chester actual artes to use, changes the food sack to cooking like in later games adds skits and a bunch of other stuff I'm probably forgetting.

>hate turbo weeb
That's been Tales since forever.
Seriously, even ToP was pretty fucking weeby.

So basically I just practice and get to know the combos before venturing online?
I mean that worked for other fighting games like MK and SC. I am actually pretty decent at those. Maybe its because those games attract a bigger amount of shitters? I actually need to be good now. I like the challenge.

Indeed, I guess the weeb just translates better in 2D. Or it's because I was a dumb fuck when I played it when I was 12

ToP was pretty stupid in locking away the free Snes battle movement for later

Nights of Azure 1 was a nice little experiment, an action rpg where you you could have a bunch of servant creatures in battle and you could swap on the go between them since they are basically a weapon you can use.
2 is just a shit dynasty Warriors game, has almost nothing to do with 1 besides the Yuri bait.

steamcommunity.com/id/ShinyDaysAtarashiiKaze/

Probably because you were a dumb fuck when you were twelve, combined with a healthy dose of nostalgia.

I'd say hard pass if the weeb aspect is too much for you. I mean, you can play the games while skipping every cutscene, but that just feels weird.

Why do you think I'll never recommend ToP SNES to someone who's looking into getting into Tales? I know I'm pretty blinded by nostalgia when it comes to that title, but even I can see the glaring flaws in that game.

Is Mushihimesama good?

Why does the Australian PSN store still have an Easter sale? Give me my weeb shit

>Australian PSN

Meanwhile on PSN, Is Odin Sphere Leifthrasir worth $24? Looks kind of janky.

If you're into goofy fun and you like VNs, I think they're a great time

I enjoyed the shit out of OS. Leifthrasir is nowhere near as janky as the original OS.

The trailer made the animation look a little odd but watching some gameplay it looks fine and I see players juggling enemies like it's DMC. I think I'll give it a shot.
Any other action games on sale I can pick up? I got Nier, the Kingdom Hearts games, and every DMC game.

Bayonetta and Vanquish

Already got 'em. Was talking about PSN too.

ONECHANBARA Z2 CHAOS SON

alright so i foudn the following games on sale
are any of these any good?

NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM TrilogyAKIBA'S TRIP: Undead & Undressed

Very good but you must train train train to get to the true last boss.

none. No SK game is good outside of the 3ds ones. Even the redo because they just made it a SV reskin

SK2 had some of the best breast physics I ever saw, too bad it didn't sell because it lacked the most overrated character in the entire series (Yumi).

I liked Nioh more than Souls.
Fromfags will tell you to avoid it because it isn´t a 1:1 copy of souls games.

>Too many
It's a trilogy and a essentially has a spin-off. It's not that many and not difficult to choose from.
>Are Danganronpas actually good "games"?
If you like Phoenix wright or you kind of like something off base from the usual stuff you will like it.

All of them are good games, just keep in mind that Nioh and MHW will take at least 50h to finish.

>NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM Trilogy
Spend the extra $10 and get the legacy pack. 4 has the best mechanics in the series and it rounds out the story of Naruto. Gameplay and storytelling improves over the series (but the story cutscenes in 4 are pretty bad for the majority since the anime hadn't finished airing. You get a lot of still frames with voice over). Watch a gameplay vid of 4, that should help you knwo if you want it for the gameplay or just for story reasons.
>AKIBA'S TRIP: Undead & Undressed
Not a bad game, just repetitive and with mediocre graphics. Once you get the combat down you will barely lose to anyone.
It's somewhat useful for learning how to navigate around Akihabara, Tokyo, since the game is fairly faithful to at least the "big" areas. Expect a lot of advertising for random Japanese stores, though, you're basically buying a sponsored tourist map of Akiba with a mediocre game thrown in.

Everything on sale is either:
Bad (FFXV)
I already own (Neps)
Don't care

lame sale

I haven't played a DW game since like 4, is 7XL worth getting on Steam? It doesn't have the massive overpriced DLC thing that Tecmo Koei loves doing.

I want to get FFXV but they still haven't made a bundle including all the DLC lol

>FFXV
>But after watching gameplay footage I've lost interest
Play it first. Gameplay footage does not always tell the entire story.

Vesperia is one of the best Tales of games.
There is a reason why the west asked for a PS3 port for like 10 years.

>Play it first. Gameplay footage does not always tell the entire story.

no, this tells the entire picture of the gameplay.

That is not even getting into the bad story telling, empty open world, and other major issues XV had.

Attached: Hold O to Win.webm (640x360, 2.66M)

I could make a webm like this of Kingdom Hearts by pressing attack over and over but that doesn't mean that kind of play will get me far or is the most fun way to play. Sorry but this isn't convincing.

How bayo? Does it have more QTE's than MGR?

It has a few, but you know when they're coming. Bayo has the greatest combat system to date in this games imo, with only a few high level nitpicks

It does, and the writing is worse and it has a lot of bad bossfights, but the game is worth it. Movement and combat feel super fluid. It doesn't have the best combat of all time as some people may claim however.

DW7 is one of my favorite DW games, and the reason it doesn't have dlc on sale is because this version actually includes every piece of dlc right out of the box (which means you start with the overpowered dlc weapons). Play the story first if you end up getting it, it's probably the best adaptation of the RotTK story the series ever had

I'm watching footage of the story mode for Storm 2 and the player beats every fight by doing charging his super meter, dashing up and using an ultimate, rinse and repeat, and then doing one last hit. This doesn't look super good.

4 is where the fun really lies because the mechanics are at their most refined
Hell, the early games didn't have a dedicated Kawarimi button. You'd only swap with a log if you blocked at the right time.
If you like Naruto, get the games. If you don't, then only get it if you want to play against someone IRL and have no other choice. It's as simple as that, because it isn't a normal fighting game and unless you're a diehard CyberConnect2 fan that buys all their games, then you won't get a game for a franchise you dislike.

Everyone already owns it.

This isn't NRS or Blazblue, user

I wanted to believe it could be good as I loved the old Shining
I convinced myself "yeah the gameplay is different and it looks like a discount Tales of but the story is probably interesting"
It's complete and utter trash. It's so insanely bog standard in the character and story department I could barely finish the second chapter before abandoning. Who ever though a main character were his only dialogues for the first 10 hours is "oh no I have this evil super dragon power which I'm forced to use to defend myself but I'm a pacifist and I will never use it" just to transform into a dragon the very next battle honestly made me feel stupid.
I legitimately believe the average Idea Factory game has better gameplay and story. It's not wowrth 25$, it's not worth 10 bucks eaither. It's not worth a pirate either, don't waste your time

Based and Moondoriapilled

I should also add, these games are short and to the point.
Not like other JRPGs that pad things out with bloat and grinding for over 100 hours.

I would get it if Dana wasn't such a buggy mess.

My friend's birthday is coming up and he's somebody that would fall under the ironic weeb category. Any good games that are around 10-15 dollars?

If you're into Moon Cell autism specifically then go ahead and buy it, it's more of that and the gameplay is at least not worse than the RPS bullshit on Extra.

I actually liked it quite a bit, the gameplay feels way better and it's much lighter on the story which for me is a plus since I'm not into Extraverse nu-Fateshit at all.

NNK2 is like a bundle of potential but is a very average game. Still very enjoyable if you're a ghibli movie fan and like the way they spin stories in a nonsensical dream-like way. If you do get it play it on hard it's the most balanced difficulty because like says normal is way too easy and the very hard mode is retarded damage sponge mode. Besides Sekiro it's the only single player game I've finished in a long time.

Recommend something better then, I'm not too much into japanese games.

Is Zwei the Ilvard Insurrection any good?

>its all weeb shit

A nep game is better.

Sure, but you'll have to suck my dick first

Sounds like a fair deal being honest.

I'm scared

Dragon Quest heroes 2 any good? Enjoyed DQ11 and had a good time with hyrule warriors

>Last Guardian for $13
>Devil May Cry 1-4 for $25
Should I?

Soul calibar and Mortal Kombat are normalfag core, lots of casuals online that don't know how to play.
You want to understand the fundamental concepts behind fighting games. Unist has a really good tutorial that covers everything from basics to really advanced stuff, I would play it through the first 2 difficulties and focus on that stuff.
As for combo's, I would recommend just learning one BnB that you can convert into off of most hits. You can get better combo's once you get a feel for the neutral game.

Oh yes, go for it. Especially MHW.

Does that look good to you?

Helen's Mysterious Castle is a really good hidden gem. It's half off right now, so its already cheap price is now just under a dollar.

How does it compare to Fate/Extra ?

Tried iqdb, saucenao, yandex, searching the archive for the image hash and filename, nothing. Pretty please?

The gameplay is completely different, the story is worse in my opinion. Extra had the weird moon cell stuff but it still followed the familiar formula of the HGW, Extella is just kind of a clusterfuck that focuses on the worst aspects of the Extraverse (in my opinion, there's people out there who love that shit).

>tfw I want to enjoy the sales and buy some games but I'm broke right now.

I know about the gameplay, my question was mostly about the story/atmosphere. I just recently played through Extra and enjoyed more than I though.

There will always be another sale. Don't spend money just because there's a sale when you probably haven't finished all of the games you bought in the last sale. Pirate singleplayer games and buy them if you want to support it later.

How do you deal with steam.api not being copied? This is the only issue I have before I go full piratechad

>exceed
dude what were you thinking?

one of these is not like the others

Attached: why.jpg (937x755, 338K)

Should i get nino cunny?

I thought it was worse than Extra, but there's people who like it. Maybe pirate it and then buy it if you end up liking it?

Tomb Raider? But Momodora isn't an asian game as well.

Why the fuck would anyone do this? I really don't get it. If you're not going to local tournaments or anything what on earth is the downside or a keyboard? If anything it seems objectively better than a stick or pad because you can press directional keys faster than you can move a stick around and pads are just dumb

Marchen's Forest (bottom middle right) sucks by the way, don't bother.

If unholy disaster is like the prequel it's one of the few H-game with very solid gameplay.

I see, I will probably pirate it and buy extella link if I enjoy extella.

yeah but nu-tomb raider isnt even discounted

>deal with steam.api not being copied?
?

Oh, didn't see that.

My computer says it can't copy the steam.api crack file because it thinks it has a virus

Disable your antivirus then, simple enough.

id/elohemian

You seem to have a bit of the Virgin going on. Just disable the antivirus my zoomer newfag.

get it on PC, i doubt the switch version will run well or look nearly as good as the pc counterpart.

PC version for any fixes and mods it has.

I dislike this image and I'm sad I can't fight you

I just saw a game recommended to me through steam that i somehow skipped over. Its a roguelite random generated rooms a la isaac with lovecraft elements. It's called Lovecraft untold stories and it is fucking great. store.steampowered.com/app/871420/Lovecrafts_Untold_Stories/?curator_clanid=3213146

If you like reading, mysteries and trails it is one of the best franchises of all time.

What are you? gay?

He said non-weeb

I’m guessing you never played the games.

Switch will have more content, japanese dub and orchestrated music. PC version has orchestra ost as a mod and it's possible we'll get the jp dub, too, eventually. So if you don't mind missing out on more content, get the PC version. It's an excellent game, anyway.

I might be slightly autistic so I dislike non-canon shit

Is Trails in the Sky actually good or is it popular because it has a cute girl as the main character?

It's pretty slow and the gameplay is ass but it is pretty well written and has a really good story once it actually gets going.

A bit of both. Estelle has a ton of personality so she's easily likeable and the story, while absurdly slow paced, is pretty enjoyable.

I saw some gameplay and it doesn't look like I'd enjoy it.

It's a series of very slow-paced RPGs where part of the fun is talking to NPCs over and over and follow their own little plotlines and reactions. If that sounds attractive to you, go ahead. You'll end up engrossed in the world and story by the end of it, but when people complain that it's slow and boring, they are right, too.

You don't know what that little robot is hiding under there.

We do, there's concept art. She's got hips for days instead of tits.
I gave redblade shit for his wagner with tits commissions so I'll give you shit for this too

She can magically grow a dress, you think she can't grow some tits?

New clothes is completely different from new body parts.
Even in her previous appearance she was mostly flat.

She was mostly naked as well. When she meets with Hilda or Yuzu she'll grow a pair of her own.
