In terms of home ports, absolutely nothing happened between the Dreamcast version and the PSN/XBLA port. And nothing has happened since the PSN/XBLA port. Unless I'm missing something?
Yes, I do know we got a soulless remake of the original in arcades in 2017. I want home ports.

Just make a Japanese account and buy an eshop card. Took me 10 minutes. The game is a lot of fun but the replay value will come from whether or not you actually want to get good at the game and climb the leaderboards.
