If you just put it to sleep, sometimes windows will start it back up to install an update. If you fully shut it down, it shouldn't start up to update if you've set it not to do so.

ghostbros just wanna play some vidya

It's something that tends to happen (at least for me) when you're on the verge of falling asleep but not actually sleeping yet. Like if you're sitting up trying to stay awake but nodding off. It's a sensation like you're falling extremely fast, but it only lasts for a second because it's so intense it wakes you up instantly.

Use your big brain and figure it out with the myriad tools available to you.

Why do you people turn off your computers when going to sleep?
There is absolutely zero reason to do that.

It's probably a form of epilepsy. Don't worry about it and don't bother with the doctors (especially if you have to pay). You will probably grow out of it as you age.

it's a sensation that sometimes happens from dreams, a person will dream that they are falling, and the dream will be so real that their body will subconsciously react to the fall, but will do so in sleep, the result of which is a sudden fearful jerk of the body, almost always resulting in waking up.

I think I've felt something similar. I am drowsy with my eyes closed and then there is a sudden jolt throughout my whole body. It's like the feeling when you play a first-person game and fall down really far but the sensation happens instantly. It happens for random reasons but mostly it happens because I am really sleepy and start hearing voices as I shut my eyes but then a certain voice will wake me up.

This way we're sleeping together.
Don't judge me.

No point in jacking up the electric bill with an extra 8-10 hours of usage every night. I don't put it in sleep mode anymore either cause that's been broken for me for the last month or two.

I also wanna know because I'm lazy and you clearly know what it is yet you took the time and effort to post a rad insult instead of just typing the name of said movie/video/show. Which honestly would've been easier on your parkinson riddled hands. Probably can't be more than 4 words.

I don't know about the user who originally posted it but for me it's pretty rare, usually just when I'm trying to stay up. It's also not particularly bothersome. Kind of neat actually.

Don't sit so close to the TV, you'll go blind. and don't make that face, it will stick like that. Also red hairs will grow on the palm of your hand if you masturbate.

I get this at least once a month. I hate it.

Are viruses still a thing? I haven't found one in so many years

The one guy shit posting with pics of this music video made me discover an old song I actually like. Still shit posting though.

I love the confused feeling. Sometimes I try to intentionally cause it by flipping a lot in bed while forcing myself to imagine I'm in a different room. Wonder if that can fuck something up in my brain.

Your PC is on it's way out.

I had one that kept popping up every time I turned it on and about a week or two later my PC clicked to death.

That videos unnerving, thanks passive aggressive user

My PC has recently started randomly crashing while I'm on Netflix,Imgur,or Youtube. I'll be watching a movie, gif,or webm and my entire monitor will green screen and reboot. It does it randomly. PC is around 6-7 years old now.

Almost all of my nightmares involve computer viruses.
I've only had two dreams that scared me enough to wake me up, one where I died in a car crash, and one where I downloaded a screamer that played SpongeBob YTPs at full volume.

You have a keylogger

Interpol is generic Yea Forums and rym garbage. I don't expect anyone on here who likes them to be anything other than a softboy.

Nope. Mobo failures aren't a train wreck, they're more like alzheimer's.

Could be a dying video card.

This is the only thing that scares me these days and I've had several similar dreams, based on real experiences.

the absolute scariest thing that has happened to me was sleep paralysis. i had this feeling where another person went inside my body. there was nothing i could do and it was just so slow and made me anxious. days afterwards i kept second guessing if i was truly me. it was really fucking weird. i still think about it from time to time.
