Nothing made by or for nintendo

English release of Trails in the Sky was 2011, so that.

Xenoblade 1 is amongst the best JRPGs ever made.

Yeah, no.

>high intellectual discourse

Xenogears is half of a much better game than Xenoblade Chronicles, and Xenosaga is less than half of a series that the creator admitted isn't up to his standards. It was dropped for not being good enough.

rance games unironically have better writing, characters and pay-off than 90% of the rest of the JRPG genre

Redpill me on BD.

You literally have to beat it four times in a row in order to beat it once.

Half a good game, half a boring slog. The ending was fine but not worth the bore that is the second half in my opinion. Spoilers on what it is you keep going back in time and redoing everything you just did so you can go back in time to redo it. Same boss fights, same characters, same world. Really well done job system though.

Fairy Fencer F: ADS

Is Tales of Vesperia good? I really dig the art style

retard

Battle Chasers Night War. Not long enough with your characters at a high level but we'll worth a play if you get it cheap.

Best tales game, but it has some hit and miss dubbed voice acting for minor characters (main party are all solid) as well as occasional audio balance problems. Still highly recommend.

Amazing job system, some likable characters and great music. Second half is marred by you having to basically repeat it a few times for the best ending.

Sequel improves the gameplay even more and you don't have to repeat it a million times, but the writing and music are quite a bit worse.

I was gonna say Lost Odyssey, Last Remnant and World Ends With You but all of those came out more than a decade ago. I’m old :(

You are correct, and I'm not disagreeing with you that the second half sucks, but some of the fights are different past the first repeat. For example, scaling the tower with all the different teams and strategies is pretty neat.

Dragon Quest XI, and Xenoblade Chronicles are certainly among the best.

I can't believe how much this game turns to shit halfway trough.

Is Last Remnant really already 10 years old? Damn, feels like it's only been a couple years. I remember my disappointment day one back when I had no idea what was going on.

FFX/X-2 Remake.

As far as gameplay goes, yes, Etrian Odyssey games are the best in a long long time.

Was that when it was Xbox exclusive? I remember pain, pain and suffering
Most people who got into it on PC don't know how good they had it. Those fucking generics, that gates of hell where if you've done side content, your BR is probably through the roof because it didn't fucking work
Fucking thing killed and revived my golem, barely won
