I didn't say it was bad, it's a solid game and I had fun playing it; what I didn't like was the fact that it didn't fit into series and felt far too stand alone to be called Max Payne.

Mech Warrior Online isn't terrible, from what I hear. If you want a smaller playerbase but way more content, Mech Warrior: Living Legends still has a number of players. Aside from that, nothing comes to mind.

that's what I do nowadays, but fightcade doesn't have matchmaking. I know in the grand scheme of things that doesn't really matter, but it really helped me learn how to play 3rd strike because I got to start out playing against noobs like me. If I had just started out playing on fightcade, I'd get my shit pushed in, and never really progress. I wanted to eventually learn Alpha as well, but there's no noobs to play against anymore.
