I'm on day 29 with Blue Star, Army in Black and a few other asshats and i can't reach the ordeal for the first Sephirah Suppression without everything going to shit

No big youtuber played it recently. No one shilled it either. It got a translation update and became easier to understand and play. There's this and I'm working on an Ordeal chart right now. The best thing to do is go in blind. You WILL fuck up and have to restart multiple times. You retain all research progress and weapons/EGO suits so it's not a big deal. The only thing you need to know is if you encounter a button that says don't touch, don't fucking touch it or else.
The UI is clunky but you'll get used to it.

Fuck ups are absolutely inevitable even with guides, the game is all about poking obvious death traps until you find their soft spot or discover a new way to start an apocalyptic chain reaction.
You can reset days/weeks/the whole run, and keep all research stuff collected so far so you won't lose much.

I love this game but I hate farming for research on the items.

Keep the lowtiers sprinkled through the entire facility instead of letting them all manage hard sections. When bad shit goes down make sure to let Ordeals target employees with higher HP while the weak employees pile on and deal damage.

Here is my general strategy for most Ordeals
>Green Dawn
Early on these guys are powerful and sturdy, but their threat diminishes once you upgrade yourself enough. If you're having trouble surviving against them, bring in someone with a ranged weapon to kite them. Alternatively, they're slow enough that you can actively avoid them for as long as you need, if you don't mind juggling employees away from their grasps.
>Green Noon
You can't ignore these guys, they got machine guns to mow down all your Clerks and a buzzsaw for anyone who gets too close. I'd gather all your Agents up together to beat them down one by one if you're not strong enough to let the Agents fend for themselves. These bots will perioidically recharge themselves, leaving them helpless, so if you need an opening for an attack then there you go.
>Green Dusk
This is probably the most brutal of the Dusks. You will notice that weird box-things have been erected around your facility. These are robot factories that will keep spawning new robots, never stopping until you destroy them all. Like Green Noon, it'd be a good idea to keep everyone together and venture out as a group to take the factories down one at a time, spread yourself too thin and you'll be shot to hell without doing that much damage.
>Green Midnight
This is probably the easiest Midnight surprisingly enough, but if you don't cheese it then your Agents will be green goo in seconds. Stick every Agent you want to save in the left side of the facility, have them group together, and approach the laser cannon. When the laser begins to close in on your Agents location, bolt for an elevator and wait for the the laser and elevator to overlap, then enter it. You will have avoided the laser, and can send your Agents back to destroy it when it's recharging.

While you can ignore Green Dawn and sometimes Amber, you absolutely cannot ignore Crimson. Little demon jesters will spawn and run around your base, sapping your E-Boxes from Containment Units while also trying to lower its Qliphoth Counter, which can obviously snowball to a containment breach. Have some of your Agents stand guard at high value Abnormalities that you don't want breaking out, then deploy the others to chase down the Jesters. Alternatively you can use Der Freischütz's Commission to line up a shot against several Jesters and instantly kill them all, just remember to get your Agents out the way
>Crimson Noon / Chorus of Saliva
This freaky looking scorpion isn't super dangerous, though it might swallow some Clerks alive. You can reliably ignore it if you can't beat it 1v1 because it's pretty slow, but it tends to wander a lot. Keep in mind that if you kill it then it will spawn some Jesters from Crimson Dawn, so again you should have some Agents stand guard by highly dangerous containment units before killing it.
>Crimson Dusk / Struggle of the Peak
Again, it's not THAT dangerous compared to other Dusks, but it can fuck up unarmored Agents good by flattening them. They're tanky, quick and usually come in pairs (Maybe 3's, worth investigating). Other than that it's like fighting the Chorus of Saliva: Be prepared for it to multiply when it dies, because it will spawn into the Chorus of Saliva. And then THOSE will spawn into Cheers for the Start when they die, so be ready for more Jester stomping.

These guys are look tougher versions of the Doubt from Green Dawn, only this time they deal heavy Black Damage instead of Red. There's also going to be like 10-15 of them invading you, so like Green you should group everyone up together if your Agents aren't tough enough to handle themselves. Keep in mind that a LOT of Clerks are going to die, and they heal by consuming dead bodies, so if you have Big Bird or Heroic Monk you may need to prepare to suppress them when they break out. One Sweeper is tough but they can't rarely handle the might of a dozen Agents beating them down, just remember to get everyone out the way when they start flailing their hooks in rapid succession, this can easily kill a lot of Agents at once, so using ranged weapons is preferred, or having someone face-tank their Black Damage while the others shoot them from a distance.

Indigo wasn't finished so now for Amber
>Amber Dawn / Complete Food
These bugs will burrow constantly, and attack in groups of 6 and higher usually. Like the Cheers for the Start you can line up a shot with Der Freischütz's Commission and take dozens of them out. Though at higher levels these things are just a barely dangerous pest. Avoid them if you can't fight them early on though.
>Amber Dusk / Food Chain
This you cannot ignore, Food Chain are giant worms that take up entire hallways, eating all in their path while spawning dozens of Complete Food. Zone them with guns as hard as you can, because getting in close is almost a death sentence for most Agents.
>Amber Midnight / Eternal Meal
Eternal Meal comes in pairs and will telegraph where they'll rise with a fiery floor before eating everything above them. When they idle long enough they will spawn 2 Food Chains and disappear. If they spawn enough Food Chain then they'll just burrow away and show up somewhere else. I advise you wait for them to hit the max spawns before attacking them, lest you be eaten by worms

If not then you got a containment breach on your hands, but the Fruit of Understanding die as a result.

This will ruin your day if you're not expecting it. If you see 'Violet Noon' in the top left corner coming up, evacuate all the departments immediately before triggering the Ordeal. When the monoliths land, they'll flatten everything in their way to instantly kill them before sprouting tentacles to whip people in the same room for Black Damage. They're stationary, but like Fruit of Understanding they'll try to cause a containment breach, but unlike them they won't die after detonating, so take them out ASAP.
>Violet Midnight / The God Delusion
I've never done this one without everyone dying, so all I can assume is that you should balance your teams out to resist certain attacks when heading out to attack the 4 monoliths. Keep in mind that when you attack a certain monolith enough, the God Delusion will fight back and target that once spot in particular. Prepare to tank a lot of damage, but your reward for smashing a monolith is depriving the God Delusion of that particular attack. You have to choose between White, Red, Purple (Black) and Pale, so weigh what you think is the most dangerous before moving in

This. For the last few years my favorite games were shit I saw on Yea Forums that I never hear about anywhere else.

The Sephirah are generally pretty pleasant, but the majority are pretty fucking jaded and don't really care how many employees meet horrible fates. Chesed and Netzack in particular, with Chewed having been far more proactive in trying to mitigate the deaths of innocents up until he realized Angela didn't give two shits and would just send them off to die anyway, and Netzack just drowns his sorrows in alcohol all day everyday. The others are similarly fucked up, but none are particularly awful as individuals. Just really really cynical.

Well, all except Angela. She genuinely gives no fucks about how many people die dealing with these things, and honestly relates more to them than she does anyone else.

The baby had a chronic disease and was adopted by two scientists, they managed to prolong his life a little bit but he was still so sickly and fragile that he couldn't be taken to the sea like he always wanted to. So they gave him the LSD candies, grape-flavored, to make him think he was going to the sea.

It can get pretty grindy, especially when things snowball (first time meeting the sweepers), I've got around 78% of abnormalities recorded and am at 69 hours. I see on Steam it's £19 / 24$ so maybe wait for a sale. Around day 30 I stopped restarting and began pushing forward after losing everyone good. nah, it's Your work results get randomized, ex. Instinct is now secretly Repression, Repression is now secretly Attachment, etc. Each character has their own unique challenge to fuck your day up with, i won't get into them though
