I have managed to get it to work with some games like Mass Effect but I will admit its a bit of a stretch for something as old as Generals

You could always just pirate it, not crack it, and then use your legitimate key with it. Then you should be able to play disc-free.

Also, if you want to play multiplayer you need a cnc-online(revora) account AND gentool.
