I'm in the process of taking some Darkest Dungeon mods I like and blacking out the eyes, similar to the original art. I can't decide what looks best though... blackened eyes or half shaded face? What to you think?
Also, Darkest Dungeon thread. Mods and stuff welcome.
The Leper and Plague Doctor are unexpectedly cute together, though it almost fits. The former is horribly diseased and disfigured, the latter dealt with that as a profession. Also the masks, and how they tend to compliment one another in a party. Killing the Heart without any Deaths wouldn't have been possible without them. She looks so embarrassed, I love her.
right looks better but it would look best if the shade actually followed the contours of her bangs

Really well. We're having the Ancestor go into all new ways of fucking people over.
Not a character idea, more like some ideas. Seeing how the trailer seemed to suggest that you wpuld be scaling a mountain in the freezing cold, I was hoping they would introduce a warmth mechanic alongside the prevuous light one. When your characters aren't being kept warm, they slow down considerably and could potentially take frostbite damage. All characters woukd have unique warmth values where they begin to see the effects of being cold. On the other hand, staying too warm could thaw out ice blocks containing monsters and loot. They could introduce character abilities and camping skills to stay warm as well. As for character ideas, how about a mountainer that uses ice picks as weapons? Or a character that could be found inside an ice block as a joke (Think of the frozen caveman trope).
I think you misunderstand, the Ancestor fucks you. Everyone loves Houndmaster, you can't not love Houndmaster. They're a tenacious bunch, I've had one die and return some three or four times. I swear he has a death wish.
>abomination makes it clear time and time again that he’s in full control >party still stresses out >occultist summons tentacles from some chthonic provenance and no one bats an eye
>Know your heros’ strengths (for example, Crusader destroys unholy enemies, Bounty hunter shines anywhere you can fight humans, Grave Robber deals more damage to marked and blighted targets, so pairing her with any class that can blight or mark for death is good, plague doctor and Flagellant is good against foes with high PROT because PROT does not mitigate damage over time effects >Make sure you’re making a profit with every expedition or you’re going to get killed since you won’t be able to afford upgrades or supplies
Those two tips will bring you a lot farther now that you know em I went from my best run being to week 16 to week 48 thanks to that
make sure you experiment with using your provisions on curios, you can get a lot of great loot, negative quirk removal, and other fun things for extremely cheap or even free. the game even remembers which ones work and which ones don't for you. also, don't take provisions for granted. having bandages, antivenom, or even medicinal herbs can make all the difference between a living or dead hero
