Pale Lurker was a pretty fun mini boss. One of the underrated additions of Godmaster. It was a bit unrefined but I hope we get more types of those bosses that have a large arena and we're forced to platform properly to beat them.

Most of the DLC is harder than Trial of the Fool, but all of them besides Godmaster are a different sort of challenge (less endurance-based) so who knows. You definitely have no chance with Godmaster unless you get better though.

I beat Nightmare King Grim despite not having beaten the trial of the fool yet. But I think that was just out of spite, and the convenience of being able to try one enemy over and over and over again, as opposed to the long-ass Colosseum challenges which are basically just drawn out wars of attrition that don't really appeal to me as much.

The first pantheon is not even that difficult. People just don’t care to put in the time.

personally, after doing literally everything but the last 2 pantheons was pretty burnt out and I didn't feel like mashing my face into pure vessel for hours upon hours, let alone the monumental task of the final pantheon. Honestly, I don't like Godmaster's approach to difficulty (dude double damage and fast moves lmao) compared to the rest of the game, though at least the bosses before Absolute Radiance are actual new fights.

It’s always cool when you get the chance to face against a character you previously played as. Shovel Knight did it well when you play as Plague Knight.

I tried Ori before, as both the art and the music were gorgeous and I had heard only praises, but I found the gameplay frustrating and not that enjoyable (to me), and it kinda prevented me from fully enjoying the athmoshere like I had from games like Aquaria.

I'd still say to give it a try.

It's easy to focus on the harder aspects, because those are the parts that stand out the most and therefore things like the Godmaster stuff tends to get talked about (that and it's the most recent content), but I found the difficulty ramp extremely reasonable.

Even the tougher bosses can generally be cheesed by certain charm builds. I literally beat some of them by going for raw damage and raw HP builds and succeeded.

At least you admit that you don't like playing games.

I’ve beat it but you first 10 or so times through are close to an hour. I think you are missing something, hollow knight isn't that fucking hard of a game.
The only really difficult stuff is optional godhome shit, and you aren't forced to do the hardest pantheon for 112%.

Why even bother getting 112% if you're not going for all achievements? And you do need to beat PoH for that

I didn't find anything aside from PoH with charm binding or radianting zote, markoth, collector or absrad actually that hard but I'm not a tard and I understand that not everyone will be as good at the game as me, and that some people might find wandering across the map more fun than retrying bosses over and over and I would have been perfectly fine with it if they had an assist mode where they can beat harder bosses in less time.

I know she's a spider but did the original Hollow Knight ever show her with multiple legs? I never really payed attention.

Sly? He seems chaotic at first but he actually has an incredibly easy to dodge attack pattern once you get a hang of the fight. Most of it comes down to walljumping over him or doing a single pogo on his head during whirlwind, after that just use spells or charged slash in second phase.

They didn't keep it secret, not technically. It wasn't originally a full game.

There was demand for playable Hornet, so when they started Hornet DLC and were asked repeatedly why it was taking so long they said "It is so vast and extensive we essentially have to remake the game." They even mention this in the reveal video with how it started as DLC.
