achievement_tunnels

rd_asteroid and tc_hydro of course.
But really, something that always pisses me off is servers where its like "MARIO_KART_V2+_ENHANCED" where they do some stupid shit like replacing the Lucky Star gif with her come dat big chungus or whatever the twittersphere is into these days

Why do so many later versions add shit like control points? The map is supposed to be just pure deathmatch with no objective.

For me, it's the big NMH poster.

so how long till this devolves into /pol/ shit flinging? also i miss building teleporters onto the roof ;_;

What's weirder to me is that nobody ever tried making the objective payload race-style with the karts
Like that could actually be pretty fun

>tfw played on this map for years
>still got no clue how to get the karts to drive
HOW THE FUCK DO YOU DO IT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

>so how long till this devolves into /pol/ shit flinging?
Speaking of that, I'd like to see left-wing retards argue against this.

bind f +use

Ì already tired that, didn't work

*tried

>there will never be a game quite as comfy as old tf2
It haunts me knowing I will never enjoy TF2 like I used to, but also that nobody has been able to even come close to emulating the feeling TF2 had

Overwatch

Does Overwatch have the ability to jump onto a goofy community made map full of fun secrets and areas intended to be a state of unending death match?

Unironically hang yourself you fucking faggot.

KILL YOUR FUCKING SELF

Just play TF2.

>full of fun secrets
There is only one secret I know of in Mario_Kart and that is pic related

It's not the same, man. It's hard to explain, but after racking up 1.6k hours since 2012 you start to notice things. Stuff like "wow, my melee fails to hit server side despite hitting client side more often than not."
That and the fact that matchmaking has been absolutely ruined, and community servers have been absolutely slaughtered in the process. If I had the marketing team and the know how, I'd make a spiritual successor myself, but since I don't I'll just have to complain on Yea Forums.

Noice

Not him but I still enjoy it, though honestly I wish Valve would just throw the matchmaking shit out of the window and just have the server browser as the main way of finding a game, maybe add quickplay back so people stop bitching.

It's still enjoyable in a sense, sure. I still hop on sometimes, but once you either stomp or get stomped, nobody sticks around. You get maybe one good match out of a server if you're lucky enough to not join a server 90% done already, then everybody bounces once the round is up. After map change, it's just like 5 people left over, and the server tends to not fill itself until the next map change. The thing I miss the most about the old matchmaking is that winning and losing wasn't a huge deal. You could play on the same server with the same people for hours and still be having a good time, and the map usually wouldn't change. Worst case scenario, you get autobalanced or the teams get scrambled. Prefer scrambled teams and autobalance to dead servers full of people taking the game way too seriously.
To put it into Yea Forums terms, it's lost its soul.

I don't ever really expierence that desu, I just want my 24h Convoy and Vikings server again

V30 had the control points do various things. Capping the one in the center building killed everyone in spawn. Capping the point in the green Hill zone skybox either put a sentry outside your base or one in the enemy base. And there was one in a box way above the map that would light the entire team on fire and do damage for a good 20 seconds. Map was still just classic fun DM, though.
