Gameplay barriers are a perfect pleb filter. You are the proof.

The combat is fine.

i can assure you no developer intentionally makes a game where you miss 9 out of 10 times while the enemy hits every time. as an avid skyrim fan i was looking forward to playing morrowind so there must be some mods to fix this gimped combat

oblivion is fine too, just not as polished as skyrim. they obviously fixed the combat from morrowind though

People with an IQ above 100 only miss only 1 out of every 10 times. 200 IQ people never miss in this game.

If you donĀ“t have the brain to understand Dice Roll combat, you can install MorrOblivion. Is Morrowind but with Oblivion engine and mechanics.

gonna ask this here. anyone else get stutter in openMW, even with no mods? I am a good framerate but annoying microstutter. Is this just inevitable, or indicative of a problem with my computer

>dice roll combat is shit
>yet Runescape is still one of the most played games online
Hmm

I didn't even know this was a thing, was trying to figure out how they got around the issue of voice acting. The developers for Skyblivion for instance were told that they couldn't re-use the voice actors from Oblivion so they had to do it using original voice actors. How'd the developers for this get around that..? I guess they just didn't ask Bethesda.

The combats good, what are you talking about?

More importantly, what mods do I need for Oblivion? Can I just go Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul and I'm good to go?

mods can make it more tolerable, but ultimately no.

Get a mod to fix the leveling and that mod that makes unique weapons and spells scale to your level after you get them.

>the developers for skyblivion couldn't reuse the voice actors from oblivion
>reusing the voice actors from morrowind
>morrowind
Yeah, seems like a lot less work to figure that one out.

the combat works just fine, your build just sucks and that's why you keep missing.

go wade in a shallow lake and swing at some fish until you get better.

just get the morrowind multiplayer mod and play with a friend so the opening grind is less boring

200 IQ people don't hit at all until they have 100000+ alchemy

>anons that don't max luck in a game with a dice roll combat system

This. I almost always take a custom class with luck as a primary attribute and put a point into it at every level up. When they say it affects everything they aren't kidding 99% of the shit in this game is affected by luck in some way.
