literally discount torchlight

the game doesnt age, so yeah its worth it.

For me it was on my cousins computer, oh the days id spend with that eyeball fella in the dungeons

but user FATE came out before Torchlight?

...
take me back

Being 12 and changing an ini setting to make dungeons FUCKING HUGE in the demo was seriously the best shit. They'd take literally 10 minutes to generate each floor but fuck it was worth it. Really felt like you were exploring the unknown

torchlight is probably the better game overall but bro...

Fuck yeah I had the demo.
Has been on my wishlist for a while but I just know it won't be the same.

Had so much fun with this game literally tricked my ex girlfriend into liking these types of games with this lol

Was there more to this game or was the demo just endless dungeon floors?

the full game was just endless dungeon floors

fishing in this game was fucking busted
its a comfy game however

This game had some of the most broken enchantments I've ever seen, then they stripped it down to almost nothing for Torchlight 2.

This was the game that sent me down the ARPG rabbithole as a kid.

Yes, because a lot of the devs were on the same team, torchlight is the spiritual successor.

I liked how it was classless Diablo. In fact if the game had some multiplayer I'd consider playing it even now, but there's co-op versions of similar genre games.

spot the underage

hell yeah I do

had a great time with a glass cannon mage build spamming meteor storm all day

Man, this is a D2 knockoff, and not a good one at that.

i like RPGs, but i hate isometric viewpoints. i should probably just kill myself

How's the steam version of this? It still work fine on modern systems?
Worth a buy on sale?

still works alright
no problems on my side as far as i remember
